Default Chief fan excuse when they miss playoffs

We didn't want to make the playoffs and get blown out by colts or whoever they are matched up with.

I would say it's more like.... " We just didn't win enough games to qualify ".

But nice try, you get a 1 for effort.

I am going to assume the old "NFL has a conspiracy against us, they backloaded our schedule" theory.

I don't see Chief fans confident of a playoff spot yet.

Instead of excuses for not making it due to the last 6 games being vs all quality/playoff teams.....It'll be blamed, as it should on the team taking a dump in its own hat vs Philly and Buffalo.

Lame. Our final 6 games are against playoff teams. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. our resolve will be challenged, but if we battle our way into the playoffs, it will be well deserved. if we don't make it, we just didn't put it together enough to make it.

The Broncos aren't unbeatable at home. Tough, yes. Unbeatable, no.

Need I remind you this Chiefs team you saw Sunday was a different team than you guys faced in week 3?

What will the DONKS excuse be for getting hammered AGAIN in the playoffs again?

Our rookie corners cant cover themselves in a snow storm.
Plummer had a bad night and in turn had a bad game.

I was too drunk and caught up in the moment to be able to break the game down play by play.

What I do know is that our D is improved. And, that's all we asked for this season, was for the offense to stay on track and to get the defense to the middle of the pack.

I think we've accomplished that. I think this team's offense is good enough to score on anyone, and the D is improved enough to hold teams to less than what our offense is scoring. And that's all that really matters.

There's still going to be room for improvement, just look at the TD reception by Anderson. but each week this defense seems to be getting better. They are making plays, causing turnovers and helping this team win. And I think that's all you can ask for at this point.

I know this team is good enough to win each of their remaining games, and are good enough to make some noise in the playoffs. It's not my fault you guys have a hard on for the Chiefs and refuse to give them the respect they deserve

We have a tough road ahead of us, there is no question about that. But are you going to sit here and tell me that Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Pittsburgh, New England or San Diego is any better than the team you guys lost to Sunday?

I'll give you Indy, and I'm not even going to ask you to compare them to Denver just because we're all homers...

We can only play the teams on oru schedule. We dominated the Eagles in the first half, when they were one of the most potent teams in the league. The second-half meltdown is another issue in-and-of itself, but we can play with the best of the best.

You guys also need to remember that this is the healthies our team has been all year. We didn't have Warfield and Wellbourne to begin the season, then Roaf went down, Sims is finally back, Surtain has missed some time...

It's no coincidence that we've struggled through this stretch where we've been battling some injuries.

So you think that makes your D improved...to win by four points and allow 27...
whatever...

and with that logic Denver's D isn't as good as you all believe them to be because the Chiefs scored 31 on them?

That particular game...yeah our D sucked. (27 points pretty much should win a game most of the time...)

Flip the Script.

While its not Likely, how would you feel playing the Chiefs in the playoffs if they DO go ahead and win out?
