Default I cant believe all this cant beat Indy crap

For crying out loud people we just lost a game to a divisional foe who has always had our number in Arrowhead.

Now I'm reading crap like we cant beat the Colts. Excuse me I didn't realise we were playing the Colts yet.

Far too many fans have their heads up their asses believing media hype that this is a great team. It's a good team I'll give them that but it's nowhere near the finished article and is a long way off getting a home playoff game yet never mind going to Indy in the AFC Championship game.

Lets just concentrate on the matter at hand and that's the next 4 games. Ravens, Bills, Raiders and Chargers. Cos if you dont you'll only end up setting yourself up for a fall and then we'll see the fire Shanny threads again.

For me personally this Bronco team has played well above my expectations this year and if we even get to Indy with a chance of getting to the big game I'll be happy. At the start of the year who'd have thought we'd be one game clear with 4 games left and still have the 2nd seed in the AFC.

Be grateful for small mercys and imagine if you were a Raider fan.

Hey, you never heard about the time when Marvin Harrison walked on water ? Or the time when Peyton Manning turned water into wine ? Edgerrin James turning white teeth to gold teeth ?

good point but with all the doomsayers like bloodsunday it's difficult to avoid. One loss to a good team is nothing to be down about.

Very true Ray and in all honesty we matched the best Home team in December in the entire NFL, we just made a couple of stupid mistakes.

Can we beat them? I honestly think we can. But one thing is for sure...we don't have a chance if our defense plays the way it did on Sunday.

Have you watched us play and Indy play?

Look, I want us to win in Indy as much as anyone. But lets be real. To do so we have to play 4 quarters of mistake free football and hope Manning is off his game in his house, withh a Superbowl berth on the line. While it is possible, its just not being very realistic to expect it.

Facts are facts adn we have not plyed 4 full quarters yet except perhaps the Jets game.

Point I'm making though is that there's a long way to go before we even have the opportunity to face them. Fans on here are looking far too far ahead. I'm looking at the next game and then the one after.

Alec, think you misunderstood me mate, read the other post. I'm saying that we may not even get to face Indy, it's far too early to even make statements like we cant beat them. We have to take care of 4 regular season games 1st then a playoff game or 2.

If we're in a game we HAVE to win, I believe we can beat anybody if we bring our "A" game on both sides of the ball

Very true, eventhough we should have won the KC game, lets look at the lighter side, we still are at the top, barely, lets keep it that way and beat the s hit out of balimore.

Agree TJ and from here on in we have to win every game unless results elsewhere go our way. IMO we are unbeatable at home and all 3 losses are on the road.

I think the pt was that to get to the bowl, even assuming they get to the AFC title game, most likely they have to win on the road in a very hostile place on turf. I haven't seen anything to suggest that that's really remotely possible. Yesterday, the dline didn't do the job. IF they had, Den wins by ten. Nothing is for sure, but a win yesterday would have put a different psychological edge to it. Now they have to win 3-4 and hope cinny loses 2 or run the table, and still face indy away

Well the reason I say we can't beat Indy is exactly what you said above and one other thing. We are not a tough road team yet either. We should have won this game period we didn't make the plays.

Agree with you nflbronco, we just can't seem to get it done on the road, but well see, beating up on the ravens should help our confidence

Indy has yet to be tested IMO (cake schedule) they been walking over bum teams and i think they just may be soft when it comes to a do or die game, you may think iam crazy (that's because iam) but that's my opinion, i think someone can smash em in the mouth and win before they figure it out.

Absolutely wrong. We can lose two games and still win the division.

But can we lose two and still get a first round bye?

Also, way early in the season, I posted that poll on who the Broncos would lose to this season. The majority picked @KC - so it shouldn't be a shock to the majority of people here.

Our team has been molded for two years to beat the Colts, not KC.

Off course TJ but what does winning the division guarantee. Certainly not a home game in the playoffs. Cincy will certainly win their next 3 games and so should we. So it comes down to the SD game for us and the KC game for them as we have the AFC tiebreaker. We can lose 2 games but who's to say SD dont win all 4 or indeed KC??

Your depending on a lot of other results with that scenario. At present if we win out we're the 2nd seed and that should be the only goal at present.

Actually, winning your Division means that you at least host a Wild Card game, so it does guarentee one home playoff game.

Exactly.

Why people cant see this is a damn mystery. Either they are blinded by their homerism (while admirable) or they are just idiots. See: Taco.
