The Big XII Championship Game has a habit of alternating between North winners and South winners. This year, it's the North's turn to win. However, that's a damn good Texas team....

OK, so here we are. Back in the Big XII title game. Is it deserved? Probably not. Would we rather that Iowa State or Nebraska or Missouri win the title? Hell no.

As far as I'm concerned, even as bad as this team was down the stretch, it speaks volumes about how bad the rest of the North was this season and that even though we may have backed into the game, I have a feeling that the other 5 teams would love a shot at UT.

So screw it. I'm putting on the old Black and gold homer glasses, and going to root for the Buffs and put on a proud face knowing that we deserved this title shot more than anyone else in the North. GO BUFFS!

I was afraid K-State knocked Oklahoma out of the title game in 2003, and that didn't happen. As dominant as Texas has been this year, they'll still get USC...

Before the Big XII Title Game in 2003, there was a feeling that Oklahoma was the best team in the country. That didn't change even after K-State beat them. Penn State COULD be a sentimental choice, but there has been a feeling that Texas is the best team in the country and that won't change with one game. The only team that gave them a real challenge was your Buckeyes....
