Put it on the wrong board earlier...Go Chefs! Famous razzle dazzle play in which Trent Green is actually snapping the ball. Look, i think you can see Dickie V crying on the sidelines.

Movies Released in 1970
  • Airport
  • Kelly's Heroes (One of my ALL TIME Favs)
  • Patton
  • Chisum
  • Beyond the Valley of the Dolls
  • Love Story
  • M*A*S*H
  • THX1138 (Lucas' First Professional Film)
  • The Aristocats
  • Beneath the Planet of the Apes
  • Two Mules for Sister Sara
  • Catch-22
  • Tora, Tora, Tora
  • The Owl and the Pssycat

In total, there were only 27 movies released that year for a total gross of just under $740 million

In comparison, there have been 564 movies released this year for a total gross of just under $7.3 Billion

Great thread (except for anything Mock has contributed).

Ah, 1970. Back when SI would actually put something other than football, basketball or baseball on their cover.

About half a dozen movies on that list are superior to anything that was released this year.
