Default Damn, this is going to be a tough game (Merged)

I really didn't see anything out of the Chiefs that gave me any confidence for the next huge game. I know it's Denver at Arrowhead, and that should rile the players up, but I think we don't have the smarts to beat you guys.

This week Roaf came back and KC was immediately better. We clicked better. Green had time. I looked at his left side, and Roaf always was in control of the guy rushing him. It was great. LJ is running great, and the receivers really clicked with Trent today. If Al isn't a total dumbass, we should be able to score some points against you guys (and not just field goals). However, that is what I fear will happen. This offense has a tendency to stall, and if we dont' get a large lead early, things could get ugly.

Defensively we looked pretty good today. Shut down the run as usual and Brady had problems against us. However, there were still those end arounds from Dwight that scared the crap out of me. I don't think we'll be able to defend the bootleg for the umpteenth time in a row. Ratface will remain steady with the run and later in the game it will really start to open up. You guys are going to score lots of points.

I haven't given up hope yet. Far from it. But the way it looks on paper, I'm predicting a loss for KC and virtual playoff elimination

I think the key for the Broncos is to score quick to shut the crowd up, you can bet that Shanny is scripting his first 15 plays to get a touchdown quick. We cant let the Chiefs get off to a hot start like last year because thats what dug us in. Oh yeah stopping LJ wouldnt hurt either...

Its going to be a tough game for sure.

And as you said an early score is a must! The KC D looked ok today, Brady looked awful, overthrown balls when he asnt pressure is not typical Tom.

If the running game gets going early, the boot will yet again be our advantage for some big plays.

Chiefs need the next game and will be riled up so surviving their big bursts of adrenaline will be key.

I'm glad Roaf got back in the mix this week without reinjuring his hammy. We didn't have him against Denver and it showed.

Roaf, Sims, Warfield. Those 3 guys are important to our team, and all 3 didn't play against Denver in the first meeting. They're all healthy and will play this time.

Roaf is only guy back that will make a difference. Warfield is ok, but not a difference maker in the game. Sims (DL??) see i dont even know who the scrub is, we dominated the likes of Henderson and Stroud, im not worried about Sims.

Gonna be a good game, Chiefs have to win or they are done. 5 losses and they would lose any tiebreaker to Denver, meaning the Broncos would have to only win 1 of their last 4 to knock the Chiefs out of any possibility of winning the division.

to say 3 guys is a big talent upgrade is laughable. Roaf is good, no doubt about it, but Sims/Warfield isnt that much of an upgrade imo.

especially against us when we have played much better teams with DL's/Db's. Game shouldnt be har, but i know it will be close

Warfield has made a huge difference in our secondary since he became the starter. We're allowing about 200 yards per game passing with him in the starting lineup. That's a huge improvement from getting assraped week in and week out with Dexter McCleon out there.

As for Sims...you'll see. You'll all see.

So those three players will make a difference? What will the difference be, 10 points? I'll take a 30-20 win at Narrowhead.

Sims is the most talented defensive tackle on our roster. We can always use him, and most Chiefs fans have been pining for his return all year.

Roaf will make a huge difference, you bet.

Jordan Black couldn't block anyone in the first game. Pryce was owning him.

Warfield? The Same Eric Warfield who has actually been getting burned whenever I see a Chiefs game? Ei, Lee Evans?
This will be a tough game, Broncos need to run the ball and get the offense rolling, which I believe it will. The Chiefs will have a tough time on offense.
