Default Window Movie Maker question

ok, I know it's probably a crappy program

but I can NOT figure out how to make a movie I made so that it registers as DVD format so I could send it to someone on a DVD so they can watch it on a DVD player

any help?

I've had major problems with WMM. It's so damn frustrating. I tried to burn a movie I made on WMM to DVD and couldn't figure it out, either.

What format is the movie made in right now? I use Nero and it will burn a playable dvd, or even a video cd that will play in a DVD player. WMM is OK for doing some **** to alter/edit it, but I've never tried to make a disc with it.
