Default Next three weeks will show if Denver is a Super Bowl team

I think that the next three weeks are an excellent measuring stick as to how good this team is.

If we go 3-0 I believe we will have an excellent shot at winning the Super Bowl. We have 2 tough road games. If we can go into Dallas and get a win on a short week that would be huge. And we rarely are able to get a victory in KC. And we have a sandwich game vs. the Jets that in years past we have dropped. Running the table for the next three would be a sign that this team has the talent, focus, and determination to win it all. I'm not saying winning the next three will guarantee a title, just that it's a good indicator of how good the Broncs are.

If we go 2-1 our chances to make the playoffs and win a game or two are good. Losing against the Jets would be unforgivable, but I my gut tells me that we'll drop one out of the two on the road.

Going 1-2 would be a bad sign indeed. That would be a precursor to backing into the playoffs again, or not making it at all!

Going 0-3, well, not likely, but..........

So, I'll be very interested how we fare over the next three. When the going gets tough, we'll see of the Broncs can get going!

Good post...If this team is a SB contender, they need at the very least 2-1

I hate to agree with you, but....well I do.

regular season proves if you are a playoff caliber team, the playoffs prove if you are a superbowl caliber team.

To win the next three games, Denver needs to score more points than the opposition. The team that scores the most will win the game.

If you can wade through the disconnected and poorly articulated comments, he actually has some good things to say. It's like finding a couple of diamonds in a box full of cubic zirconias though.

I like listening to him because his voice is a classic, but he's as articulate as a dog speaking english.

The next three weeks won't tell if Denver is a S.B. team. Denver could go 3-0 and still lose to the Colts in the playoffs. The next 3 weeks will be a good indicator whether Denver will win the West however.,

What

These next 3 games will show if we win the West, thats it IMO.

Chargers and KC are only 2 back so the next 3 as well as the 3 after that are important to take care of.

No, going to the Super Bowl will show Denver if the Broncos are a Super Bowl team.

Denver is incidental in the equation, outside the extent that we've voted to tax ourselves to subsidize an NFL team and once in a while our noise confuses another team visiting our city resulting in a five yard penalty.

Mr. Bowlen's fotune and the talent of a good many players who don't make their homes here are more essential factors.

Don't get me wrong. I'll cheer loudly and celebrate shamelessly should the Broncos reach the promised land. But I won't confuse the city with the team.

Like Mock said on the other thread, lets worry about the NY Jets first. We have a long, storied and rich history of dropping at least a home game per year, sometimes two to total scrub teams. No need to look forward, just wait till we get past this game. We have been repeatedly burned by looking forward and prick our toes against teams that dont even belong on the same team as the Broncos and then we end up crying at the end of the season when we missed the division championship by a game or two. We cant afford anymore ****ups like 2004 Oakland, 2003 Chicago, 2001 Washington etc.

Take care of the NY ****ing Jets first, lets get to 8 wins first before we figure out how we are going to beat the Chiefs and Chargers to 11, much less how we are going to get to the AFC Title game or the Super Bowl.

SoCal we can look ahead all we want. We don't play the games. The players can concentrate on the Jetrs I'm looking forward to going to KC and having a good 'ole beatdown on the hometeam.

The problem is even when the fans look ahead like that, if/when that scrub team catches us by surprise it makes things even more intolerable than it usually is after a loss.

Yeah, but even tho im a guy to take one game at a time, im still gonna be pissed for a loss verse the jets. Or any team remaining for that matter.

It's only a game I'm past losses being intolerable.

If Denver can beat Dallas they will have 10 days to prepare for the Chefs. I think the Dallas game is the key. A win in Dallas and Denver goes 13-3.

Either way they will have the division wrapped up by the time they play the Chargers the final week of the season. The Chargers will also be out of the playoff race. So Denver will get a win in S.D. because the Chargers will mail it in and Denver will need the victory to get the second seed in the conference.

There SoCal now that is looking ahead.
