Default Khan's thoughts

Good win for our boys. We played an angry Raider team and were just better than them. It's nice to know that our team can win when the situation is against you. Oakland was hungry and played us hard all game. Their defense really slowed us down, but we hung in there and thanks to an agressive and successful defense mad ethe plays we needed to.

Other thoughts...

-The other best running back in the NFL is Shaun Alexander. The guy is a victim of a small market team. He's already got 17 touchdowns which is more than he had all last year.

-Kyle Boller still sucks. anyone still worried about that Ravens game at home?

-I officially have a man-crush on John Gruden for sticking the Redskins with a two-point conversion late in the fouth.

-There are some who would suggest that the Chiefs holding the Bills to two touchdowns shows the much vaunted revamped D we've heard about ad nauseum is finally improving...until you realize that they played the fourth worst offense in the entire NFL.

-One of those crappier offenses is the Jets and we get to play them at home next week.

-Karma's a b****. The late field goal Giants loss to the Vikings should bring a smile to everyone's face.

The Jets defense can play well though. Their offense has to do something though to keep them in it.

Jets defense is very good, alot like ours, which is a little spooky. Their offense...it has no identity, nothing they can fall back on to move the ball. Broncos should win their 8th game of the season because its home. Also, this is the start of a 3 game stretch in 18 days. They need to win all three, solidfy the west, and get the 2 seed.

Sadly, the Jets game is the kind of trap game the Broncos have a tendency of losing (even in the SB years).

Right. It was just last week that they had San Diego on the ropes. You can't look past anyone anymore...the second you do you're in the lockerroom with a towel over your head...sad...and answering the same questions over and over from knuckled head reporters...as to why your team suffered a let down.

Nope. We're no that team this year. Sure, "any given Sunday, etc." but we aren't playing down to anyone this year.

Enjoy your ride to the AFC Championship game, after that , it ends. This years SB winner is Indy. ( providing Manning isn't hurt.)

That's kind of you to say we get that far. I don't know how it will end but i think this team can roll with any other team in the NFL, including Indy.

Easy for me to say, as long as the former Browns players continue to produce and Shanny keeps a wrap on Jake, you guys will do well.

Problem is , Indy is rolling that well and HF is a big plus in the NFL. Sucks that Indy has a cupcake schedule this year.

I would be very happy if we got to the AFC Title game. That would mean at least one playoff win and a division championship. Im really not impressed with Indy. They arent blowing people out like last year. Their Defense is better but their offense isnt as dominant. Most of their games are very competitive. Unfortuneatly it will be really hard for anyone in that dome.

i'm more worried about Shannyhanman becoming Dungy's b*tch.
Can't seem to game plan him at all. Or maybe it's Coyer's problem.

If the DL continues to generate their own pressure we should be able to handle Indy. And providing we can stay healthy (knock on wood) the AFC Title is well within grasp.

But lest not forget one week at a time, the Jets game is a trap game IMO, and we need to step up and play hard.

That would imply he always loses to Dungy, and that is not the case. Shanny has won the last 2 games played in regular season. 1 game was important to both teams and Denver dominated at Indy (one of Payaton's worst games that yr), and the other involved scrubs from Indy. Although Dungy has owned Denver in the playoffs, it would have been nice to play at least one game with healthy CBs (and maybe one game at home). This yr Denver could give them trouble since Payaton's main weakness (like most QBs) is playing on his a$$, and this DL can make life interesting for a QB.

PS I think the faster field of the dome would actually benefit Denver's front 7.

Chef fan can lick his wounds as he checks for a pulse on the cadaver...

We got a divisional road win...which is all that matters....it got a little ugly for a bit, but DW pulled out the knife and twisted it...

Everything is playing out as I hoped...we have evened our record on the road and have held home serve...We hold home serve and manage .500 on the road we will be fine...

After watching last weeks fights like cuckolds we got to come out and make a statement...

few things are more are more satifying than going into the black hole and ripping Greasy Al a new one...naturally, they had to give us a scare, but we once again made the big play...

We are finally making plays in the secondary...to me, that's the biggest difference in this team than prior ones...Champ, Foxy, DW, Fergy...we are making those picks instead of throwing the Bud Can across the room...

Road win is a road win is a road win...x it off and don't get a big head...we dropped the Giants game, but we are 7-2 and rollin'...

This puts us firmlly in the hunt...we even managed to get a step on the Chefs...we are now firmly in control of the division....

I'm laughing my ass off watching the KC game...

we won't over look the Jets

not at home

if we were in New York, I'd think this would be more of a "trap game"

but not in Denver...nope

not this year

I know we won...I know we played a division game away against a bitter rival...I know the score was lopsided but was anyone a little dissappointed with our offensive production? It seemed like we really didn't march up and down the field but we just won the game of field postion. I thought the rookies outdid themselves, in fact I am most impressed by a play that actually resulted in a completion for the Fade, Foxworth was covering Gabriel on a throw to the sideline, Foxworth had the play covered but the Fade made a great diving catch. Foxworth could not have played it better, he really earned some "Rep" with me. All in all a win is a win, we are 8-2, wether we have an offensive explosion or not, we are finding a way to win. I know everybody, myself included would like a "security blanket" to wrap themselves in like an offense that could put up 300 yards passing and 200 rushing, 45 points a game but you can't argue with just winning.

I wouldn't say I was dissapointed in the offense... A little shocked that we didn't have a 100-yard rusher, but other than that, 23 points + a defensive TD isn't bad.
