Default Football bets

I was wondering what a good online site would be for a little football betting. I can use a little of my online poker winnings and try my hand at a few games. I've heard of sportsbetting.com I think it is. Any suggestions/preferences? I like the Colts tomorrow nt. giving 3.

If anyone can explain betting on football over here I'll be forever in their debt.

At home, with soccer, say Glasgow Rangers play Raith Rovers; In this game, Rangers are OVERWHELMING favorites. Rangers are 1-10 (one to ten). if you put 10 pounds on Rangers, you win 1 pound (you enter with ten, leave with eleven). Raith are 30 - 1 (thirty to one) to win, thus if Raith pull out a shock and win and you bet 10 pounds, you win 300 pounds (enter with ten, leave with 310).

The spread? + 7? I don't get it, and if vBookie is gonna start soon, I'd like to understand. I'm a foreigner etc, so anyone's patience and help (me = ) would be awesome. Tell me like I'm ten years old.

Sportsbook.com has been reliable for me. I've cashed out several times with no problem, as have the people who recommended the site to me.

dont get their lines, either, and neither do i get the uk lines, but the spread is like a handicap bet ... so when say denver is playing houston and the broncos get -10 it means the broncos have to win by 11 to cover.

Ok Dag. The +/- Number is pretty simple. Say like this week the Broncos are playing the raiders. The Broncos will be the favorites so the raiders will be considered the underdog. So a point spread will be set giving the raiders points (for betting purposes only). So if the faiduhs get 7 points and you bet on the Broncos to win, the Broncos have to beat them by more then 7pts for you to win your bet. Or you could take the faiduhs and even if the Broncos won, as long as they didn't win by more then 7 you would win your bet. I hope that wasn't to confusing .I tried.

5dimes has way better lines & props, and has tons of stuff to bet on, and the payouts are ez...

I would recommend looking at this site before you use any online gaming site

http://www.sportsbookreview.com/

sportsinteraction is one of the worst rated sites, I've used sportsinteraction, bodog and others in the past, but now I wouldn't use anything but 5dimes.

It's a bit of a hassle to fund your account, but it's legit. Just use Firepay. Small fee, but it's a legit Paypal-type company. I've had a pretty decent year (small-time betting) so I've cashed out a couple of times already. No probs. Playing with their money now.

This year after Tiger Woods won the British Open they invalidated the odds on Tiger to win and didn't pay. Stay away from any of them that aren't rated somewhere in the A category.

Yeah I tried looking at that site last night and today but I keep getting the old 'this page is unavailable' thing and refreshing doesn't do anything. But I do want to look that over beforehand so I'll keep trying.
