Coming soon to a thread near you! At the request of Smalltowngrll, I'll get on this asap tomorrow evening. For now, lets get this ball rolling with a quick shot of the tailgate action from yesterday's big game that I just happen to have on hand
Here's one of the more creative efforts from this weekend ![]()

And one more for good measure. See you all in less than 24 hours as I arrive back in warm sunny and smoggy Southern California

I'd love it if someone would post the "group" pics from Sunday's tailgate ... I didn't get a picture of that with my own camera.

Looks like the tailgating scene is happening out there.
My plan is to make it out to Denver for a definate one, maybe two games next season. Can't wait to check out the pre-game party at Mile High. |

Ok, shall we get started?
First of all, its good to be back home as I've seen more than my fair share of snow and Colorado cold now for the past two weeks. I cant wait to call my family and tell them I'm sitting on a beach next time it snows there ![]() Secondly, it was fantastic being back home again for both playoff games. I had the opportunity to finally meet alot of you crazy peeps, some for the first time. It never gets old running into my buds AK1971, Dumpy, TJ, Disco, Bronx, Crusher, Jake, Hatman, TailgateNut, Woody, Meck, Faith, Jester etc. But this time, I had the opportunity to meet some long-overdue pals from here at the Mane. We'll start the day after the fantastic win over the Pats and one of the best tailgates I've ever seen. That Sunday morning, I watched the Steelers game along with the rest of Broncos nation and was in shock at the way the game was playing out. Before I even had a chance to absorb the game, I realized that I needed to get in contact with TJ. Thanks to Blueflame and her trusty timing with the phone, I was able to get back in touch with TJ and begin the planning of the following week. I knew right away that if we found a way to get that title game in Denver, that we had better plan our ticket aquisition asafp or we would miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime. So, after a flurry of calls, and some well-timed planning, we were able to get our duckets for the game via Ticketmaster on the third level. Of course, Garcia Bronco had called me and left a message a mere 30 seconds before we got the tickets. Good thing too, since it was thisclose to us getting just the two tickets. So, duckets to the game of the year taken care of, next thing we had to do was arrange/rearrange flights. I had decided to stay in Colorado after the Pats playoff game since I sadly enough had to be there for a friend's funeral (he had passed away the morning of the Patriots game). So, in the interm, I stuck around and got some beautiful shots of Colorado in the winter. ![]() Only one problem... There was hardly any snow even in the high country!! ![]() ![]() ![]() But by Wednesday night, that all changed as Denver and the Front Range recieved a long-overdue snow and cold. Brrrrrr! It sure made for some beautiful scenes though. ![]() ![]() Mmmmm, precooked elkburgers ![]() ![]()

I even found out that my good old friend Walt Tishma, a long-time Longs Peak ranger is still around but has finally hung up his boots from climbing Longs after climbing it over 100 + times through the years. I love that mountain so much.
