Default Stinky Calls Out the Refs

For those of you who thought I was out of line for suggesting that the poor job by the refs this year has had an increased impact on the game, I figured that you'd appreciate when one of the Bronco's revered sees the same thing:

, that's true, but I saw this in a local paper so I thought I'd share with you guys. Plus, he won two rings with you guys and only one with us. Plus, he retired a Bronco, no?

I thought it was stinky too. He had some contract beef with shanny, but truth told, his knees were done. Broderick Thomson, Brian Habib, Nails, Stinky and Zimmerman were across the board as good as any oline I saw. Greenbay's line with Ringo at center was prolly man for man the best, but that was a long time ago. The hogs had a machine.

Maybe so. I gave it to Broderick cause the guy was a very very good pass blocker. The line was really set up for Elway. But, you are correct that TBone gave Den a run off either tackle. I went with the Broderick year because Habib was there that year, and Neil came in the next. But, considering, I agree with you. Habib couldn't have done to the Fatty from Green Bay the kind of butt kicking Neil gave him.

Burgandy, I didn't think you out of line, just wrong on the officials being worse than usual, but the Giants game was awful too. Den should have won despite the bs calls and non-calls, but it was awful. Maybe you're right.

I agree with him. They protect their stars and give more calls away to teams with larger markets. I'm not ready to say the NFL is fixed, but strongly weighted is a word I would use. It isn't fair, that's for sure.

They let Rod away with a handy little push off last Sunday..but it won't take away the buttfucin' we took from the refs in NY...that was rediculous...

What was so weird about the Philly game was all of a sudden it was like our friends turned into our enemys...we were getting all the calls...then in the third...they were calling everything but Chunky Soup on the chin on us when the Beagles rallied...It was amazing...how could we be committing all these fouls when we were not before?

Stink is a moron, but he got one thing right...there is horrible inconsistency with the refs. The NFL throws out another rule bi-weekly...who can blame them I couldn't do it...throw in the fact some need glasses...literally, and are too old to keep up with the action and what do you expect?

Every year, they burden the refs with yet another pussification rule...Burress was constantly pushing off, yet when they finally called it, they made it offsetting...WTF was that? All it did was give the Giants a free play...That game was thrown...we should still won, but I could tell the game was being thrown and I said so early in the third...We should of overcome it, but it was definetily biased...that crew sucked rat balls.

See, I think that was a pass for getting screwed in NY. I bet the Redskins get a big win with some help from the refs next week b/c they wanted to do a decent tribute to Mara. Not saying the Giants aren't good, but I honestly believe the league knows that you need the New York markets to make money.

I agree, the Jets are soo bad that they cant even help them with penalties so they have given up.

I've been watching the NFL since the late 60's and I don't remember so many missed calls at crucial times than this year. There does seem to be some manipulation going on. I hope we are all wrong but it does seem blatant.

I hate to say it, but it seems like the refs are making sure each possible game is made close...All of a sudden, in the third, a flurry of flags rained down on Denver...many of them phantom quite honestly...or ticky tack at the most...

But when the giants were holding like desperados in a desperate last ditch drive...all we needed was one call...one call...I saw 5 holding on that drive...They just would not throw the flag...I couldn't believe it...5 freaking times they held...not one call...They let Buress push off all day and the best they could do was double flag and give them a free play? WTF was that call someone fouled...it wasn't a double fighting after the bell...I saw Burress pushing off at least 5 times...hell, he the most penalized in the whole NFL, but when they do it, they make it offsetting and give them a new down...it was absurd! Oh well...we got jobbed but life goes on...

You could tell that it was still sticking in Shanny's craw yet too...he just hit it...but he alluded to it...he knows better...god knows you can't rattle the Gods....many have tried, all have failed and usualy get fined for it. Look at the Lelie catch...it was totally obvious that he caught it...but the idiots call him out...stuff like this is all over the field...****i it, never mind...roll with the punches...still pisses me off tho...refs threw that game and they know it...bastiges...

Good poiint, it seems that third down they realize the improtance of third down and are the refs seem more critical of the play

From what I hear of "stink" he didn't break on the field rules as he did with goverment health regulation rules.
