Default Salisbury Changing His Tone.

When asked who could beat the Colts:

Sean Salisbury: The Denver Broncos. ... I mean, the Pittsburgh Steelers are pretty darn good, especially if it's outdoors. If it's in Denver or Pittsburgh and it's against the Colts, I'd probably pick the other team to win. ... We'll learn a lot about the Colts when they face the Pats. We'll see if they are over that psychological block. The Colts are still the best team, but I'll tell you this, we're going to find out the answer to your question because one of those three teams are going to the Super Bowl from the AFC

Matt (Bethlehem, PA): Sean, Who will be the main challenger for the Broncos in the West? Chiefs or ESPN's darlings, San Diego?

Sean Salisbury: Ha. I don't know if the Chargers are our 'darlings', I know that I've ripped them a few times. Denver is the team to beat, but the Chargers will be the best challenger and the Raiders, I think, even at two wins, they are going to beat somebody down the line here to disrupt the playoff picture. If the Chargers could hold a fourth quarter lead, Denver would be chansing them. But, right now, I't Denver, San Diego, Kansas City ... And I picked the Chiefs to win the division at the beginning of the year.

On a similar note, Im really starting to feel bad for Pasquerelli:

Chris, Toronto, ON: Len, how can you type with those sausage fingers while you're eating a hogie?

Len Pasquarelli: i've learned to type with my elbows

Mat (Scottsdale, AZ): If I was a Steeler fan I'd be embarrassed to root for the same team as you.

Len Pasquarelli: i didn't say i root for the steelers, did i, mat? . . . i said pittsburgh is my beloved home town . . .got a problem with that, mat?

Mat (Scottsdale, AZ): Let me guess, you dressed up as The Hamburlar for Halloween.

Len Pasquarelli: well, i think hamburgler has a "G" that you left out . . . know, i dressed up as a fat, balding 55-year-old guy and tried not to scare off the kids who came to the house

Also from the same Pasquerelli chat:
Will (San Antonio, TX): Who is your mid season coach of the year? It's hard not to go with Mike Shanahan considering the job he has done.

Len Pasquarelli: i honestly haven't given this a lot of thought yet, because we're not doing or midseason analysis until next week . . . but i'd be hard pressed to think of anyone more deserving at this point than shanahan . . . the broncos weren't exactly the pundits' darling going into the year, but they look like a real power team now . . . i had them ranked No. 2, behind only indy, on my ballot this week

He pulled this crap last year, and then we tanked at midseason. Every time this fool starts giving us props and talking good things about Shanny, the Broncos start losing.

Oh please God, PLEASE don't let Sally mess up our mojo.

Yeah..It's all from his chat today. There are countless other jabs at Pasquerelli in every chat he has had this season. The Redskins fans particularly hate him. I know he asks for it alot by disrespecting some teams with regularity, but it's gotten to the point of brutality. I'm sure he doesnt look forward to his chats.

I like how Matt from PA called him out on the chargless being the media darlings. Whenever I listen to or watch the national media they drool over how the chargers could easily be 8-0. Well they aren't, and like Parcells would say halfway into the season they are what they are, and that is a .500 football team. LT and Gates my be all world, but the team is not.

There's nothing in the world I want less than Salisbury supporting my favorite team.....that guy is the biggest slam dunk kiss of death going right now. He puts the SI Cover Jinx and Madden video game jinx to shame.

Can't anybody just enjoy the freaking season anymore? You can't even get halfway through without these goons predicting playoffs and who's the so called 'best."

It's amazing they actually answered those questions. That's a riot.

I remember ol' Salisbury last year actually saying at the start of the year that the Chargers were a "sorry team" and didn't blame Eli for not wanting to play there. Fast forward seven weeks and he's saying crap like, "Listen to me, this team is for real...mark my words." He was praising them so much that you thought he was going to ask to put a glory hole in their locker room for him to work at nights.

Then there's PassTheJelly. That ahole made so many subtle wiseass remarks about the Broncos offseason moves in his articles, now he's talking about having them second on his list and Shanahan his top coach. Be sure to make plenty of room on the bandwagon for that tub of lard. Reinforce the shocks on the wagon too.
