I don't, look at the colts schedule. I think if can get second best record in the league it looks like another road playoff game in that freaking dome barring injuries for both teams.

There are few locks, but them finishing with 13 or more is ... a fix.

In a league where San Fran can beat Tampa with their 3rd and 4th string "QBs".....you can now officially put me with the "anything can happen" crowd. They'll likely go 14-2....but 12-4 is a possibility. Anything less than that would most likely be the result of major injuries (although they do have some very lose-able games coming up:
at New England at Cincy vs Pitt at Jacksonville vs SD at Seattle) Last edited by Beantown Bronco; 10-31-2005 at 02:02 PM.. |

I don't know, but I would absolutely love to get that pansy team into Denver for a playoff game... mix in a little weather, etc. Not to get ahead of ourselves, of course.
If Indy by some stroke of luck would end up coming to Denver for a playoff game, I'll be there... bar none. |

I'm thinking the Colts lose 4. I've been talking about this for the past few hours. They have some very tough teams to play in the 2nd half. 4 road games against teams with a good chance of beating them!
I'm not sure how anybody could call this 2nd half schedule "easy"? Nov 7 @New England (tough,4-3) Nov 13 Houston (easy) Nov 20 @Cincinnati (on the road, tough, 6-2) Nov 28 Pittsburgh (tough, 6-2) Dec 4 Tennessee (relatively easy) Dec 11 @Jacksonville (on the road, tough, 4-3) Dec 18 San Diego (tough, 4-4) Dec 24 @Seattle (on the road in late Dec in Seattle, very tough!, 5-2) Jan 1 Arizona 1:00pm (Easy) |

Well worst case scenario is they start 8-1 after they come back from this bye with @NE and Houston at home....after that they could lose any of the following:
@ Cincy Pitt SD @ Sea @ Jax Even if the wagon wheels fell completely off they would be 10-6 worst case scenario but I would imagine that the realistic worst case scenario would be to lose to NE then drop 3 out of those 5 games listed and finish 12-4. If I had to guess as to what I think will play out would be to lose to SD, Sea and NE to finish 13-3. |

Exactly....I mentioned that a couple weeks ago when folks were whining about how big of a joke schedule they got this year...Reminded them that it was easy to start but is getting ready to get pretty nasty. |

The worst part of it all, if they do somehow make the Superbowl, it's going to be like a home game, in the midwest, in a dome, etc. Crappy!
But then again, if they do make it, by that time I will be far disconnected with football. |

They won't be able to go on auto-pilot and beat teams like Pitt. |

Pitt and NE are the only two that have realistic and likely shots at beating them but Indy this year CAN beat both of those teams.
I doubt it happens, but I would not be surprised to see them win out. |

If Denver has to goto Indi I hope they are undefeated. That would be the perfect revenge senario.

If would have to be the AFC champioship game so we could stop them from getting to the superbowl for them knocking us out of the playoffs two years in a row. |
