I wonder what would happen if Taco turned the lights off for a couple days to take a break from all this BS.

I could understand if you did Taco...I really would.

Some might see that as TJ trying to flex some muscle and show people who's boss. Some would likely understand. Some wouldn't react to it too well.

Only one way to find out for sure.

I was actually going to wait until Monday to start a poll... It's 5pm Pacific Coast time on Friday right now...

I'd prefer to keep the discussion going so that we can flesh out the positives and negatives of each different perspective because once it's set, it's set.

But this will serve as a decent "primary."

FYI....

Like I said in the other thread.

I'm not doing this to be an ass, I made this so that people can voice their opinion and so that TJ can get a feel for what everyone wants to do with a number attached to it.

Nah, it's ok. I think having a primary poll is a good idea.

IMHO, the poll needs at least one more option... "totally ambivalent about the entire issue of rep" (or "Don't care one way or the other" )

although rep has gotten alot of panties in bunches I like it. It is an interesting feature that seperates the OM from other boards.

why do we need little boxes to tell someones reputation. If you truly have a reputation people will know. Throw the whole freaking thing out the window

thats how i see it

How about rep resets to zero every time you're banned?

One of the football boards I visited recently had the option to disable rep (I don't remember which board it was). This seems like the best option if possible. Those who like rep can keep the feature and those that don't can turn it off. Don't know if TJ's software allows this......

Rep creates entertainment to watch people get unravelled about it. I personally think it's cheesy.
