Default Elam Trend? Am I the only one that notices this?

Anyone else notice that we lose everytime Elam misses a single FG in a game?

If he misses 2 or more we do tend to win. I don't have hard facts but since around 1996 I have not remembered a close game that we have won when Elam missed ONE FG in a close game.

Maybe someone with time who knows where to look this up can find out if this trend is actually true. I don't know where to start to look up FG stats.

Anyone else notice this?

The dude makes two of three field goals of over 40 yards with those swirling winds at Giants Cemetary and some people want to jump all over his ass. Tell you what. Go make a 49-yarder in a heavy crosswind and then come back and tell me how much our kicker sucks, okay?

Can anyone look up the last time we won a game where Jason missed a Single FG attempt in a game? I guess I was not clear enough for you idiots.

I am not knocking him, I just think it is a coincidence that everytime he misses a FG attempt we lose the game. I don't have the time to look this up. I am at a Cisco class all week & would not know where to look anyway. Sure seems to me that the last 7-8 years everytime he Misses ONE FG attempt a in a game we lose that game. If he misses more than one then this theory is NULL & Void.

I did think it was interesting that Dallas cut Cortes because he has made only 75% of his kicks. Elam has made about 67 or 68% of his, and doesn't kick off. Lucky for him Parcells is not his coach.

Elam missed two against the Chargers in week 2, and missed against the Chiefs in week 3.

If it weren't for the phantom "block in the back" call Elam's final attempt is from 37 instead of 49. He's 102-112 in his career.

I reading a post yesterday, and they called me bright as a burnt out lightbulb. I was about to get mad, but I looked over and saw that it was just Alec.

I wasn't looking for the answer of why he misses them I though it might make a interesting point that when he misses it corrolates to a Bronco loss. Thought it might be interesting to have someone other than me research to see if that is the case.

BTW WHITE SOX, World Series Champs!
