Default Calm Down, it's all going to be fine

I havent posted in awhile but, hey I could see this coming from a mile away. We have gotten too conservative with leads late and it finally caught us. Did we all think we would be 15-1, no. Everything is fine hell we really should have won but hey its the NFL, its going to happen. I was impressed with Jake, RBBC,the Defense overall, and Champ playing the whole game. You'll see this is the year to go deep in the playoffs, maybe not superbowl but we will make our mark. Definitely the deepest team I have seen since the superbowl years. Hang in, next game I am sure we will pull it together again.

No we will fade down the stretch again like we do every year and get crushed in the playoffs...if we even make it that far. I see 4 or 5 loses on this schedule the rest of the way. Sorry...but you can see the cracks plain as day. We have no passing game, can't buy a sack to save our lives...we are getting hardly any turnovers...Shanny/Coyer loves the soft D in the 4th quarter...at least we can punt this year.

What could possibly give you the idea we have nothing to worry about?

We aren't getting sacks because teams hold us so that we can't get to their qb's. This isn't a whine its what I've seen so far. Pryce hasn't gotten to the QB but he causes holding penalties. Our team will be fine, Plummer is playing good ball and not turning the ball over. We have one of the premier rb combos in the league. Our D is going to stiffen up in the 4th quarter and we will be able to finish games... especially at home. Footstepsfrom#27, I honestly want to know who you think our losses will be. I'm not trying to argue with you I'm just interested. I would say the toughest games we'll have is next week and @ KC. I think we'll take Dallas at their place. I think we match up pretty well against them.

Well yeah I agree we might go farther in the playoffs only because the Colts will have a bye week though.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, we're gonna lose that game too! We're gonna make Kelly Hocomb look like Joe Montana. But then again, with our defense, we make just about any medicore QB play a HOF level game.

Causes holding penalties? The KC game is the only one you must've watched because the holding penalties are NOT being called even though they are blatantly happening.

Things are still pretty good. We are 5-2 and undefeated in the division.

The way we are playing now we will lose to Philly next week, KC and SD on the road, Dallas on the road and possibly even lose 1 to the Fade. Don't underestimate Dallas. Their defense is good...very good. They completely shut down both Philly and NY, and only lost today on an INT return late. They could easily be 6-1 and no...I do not think we match up well with them. Bledsoe will pick us apart unless we get some serious pressure...not this "oh how nice we got close again" crap. We need sacks...not "almosts". As for the holding/non calls...that's an excuse every team's fans use when they lose. You have to play through that and they are not doing so.

Shanny/Coyer steadfastly REFUSE to stay aggressive in the 4th quarter...just like Dan Reeves. Nothing short of a RADICAL change in tactics will save this season from being another dissapointing exercise in mediocrity.

I agree with you about the 4th quarter. We need to keep the same game plan on offense as we have the whole game. Playing not to lose is the best way to do just that.

Rep for you. I needed to hear this. Its so frustrating when they play their best and still lose. There is plenty of football left, so anything can happen.

When you run the ball 33 times for 191 yards at 5.8 a pop, there's plenty of reasons to be optimistic.

I figured this would be a loss before the season. Even after doing so well I had a feeling about this week. The fact that they played hard and lost at the last is somewhat uplifting but the 4th quarter defense, it seems Coyer goes back the defense that played against Miami and the first half of the San Diego game. It doesn't work. Why do they keep going to it?

We DO need to figure out how to step on team's throats when they're down... but there is no need to panic.

We'll win next week. Philly has it coming to them.

Yeah they do have it coming, this week the players are going to be motivated you make sure Al Wilson and Co will get players ready....Im pretty sure Al Wilson is about pissed off as us for losing and hes been through the tough times the last couple years so I dont think he will let that happen again.
