Default The Refs are the worst

Just so that everyone will say I'm b****ing about the refs. This group is terrible, I would be suprized if any defensive player has a jersey when this game ends.

I can't believe the holding going on, excuse me grabbing.. Maybe there is no penalty for grabbing.

These refs suck..

Crappy phone pic, but if you step back.. you can see the Giant linemen locked onto Pryce, getting a free sled-ride.

That was on the Plexiglass catch, btw. (That set up the TD)

it was absurd...i guess you had to tackle someone...

each series the Giants OL would get braver what they could get by with...

Look...I'm not a whiner, but jesus christ...it was rediculous. there were over a dozen plays with blatant holding....I know we hold...but not like that...notice we were not called for holding...they were holding and it wasn't called. Period.

I'm done. the refs threw that game like a towel into the river. The phantom call against Gold...hell..the TV couldn't even find it...

I saw linemen being taken down with no call.

Others looked like they were in a wrastlin' meet.

There were at LEAST ten plays holding not called.

and I want to see the phantom Gold call too.

I have never seen a game thrown this hard by the refs...it was disgracefull.

Holding before the pass on Gold...TV couldn't even find it.

One of the worst officiated games I've ever seen in terms of offensive holding.

I normally don't "whine" about the refs...but this game was terrible! (and I don't know who the officials were in the SD/Philly game but there were flags all over that one too!)

I have NEVER seen such blatant bias on a ref crew in my life...the holding our line the whole game and never got called but twice I think...

I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Cincy had 17 points taken away by penalties today. So it isn't just us.

There were not flags all over the field...just ones to sustain Giants drives constantly...

Look..it was so clearly thrown you would have to be a dumbass not to know they were paid off...

that's a serious charge, but damn...thats the worst officiating I have seen in a decade.

The point is that the officials wouldn't call holding all night

It was incredible...sometimes there would be TWO holding on the same play with no call...

I couldn't believe my eyes.

The phantom Gold holding call that even the TV couldn't find, totally away from the play...

Yup mock it was ridiculous. They had like what 2 30-40 minute drives that lasted only like 3-4 min in gametime because the refs extended the drive over and over and called penalties on like every freakin play.

There was a point during one of the bad holds where it almost looked like the Giant lineman let loose because he thought he was going to get flagged... then said **** it, and grabbed onto our guy from behind again, and no flag.

The one time the refs actually called it, the left tackle just mauled Warren. You could actually hear the crowd moaning (or laughing) during the play. I think if that flag hadn't come out, I'd honestly be out shopping for a new T.V. right now.

Once again, not a conspiracy theorist.. but I do believe the league likes certain QBs to have success, and Manning might be entering into that category. I'm not talking about games being fixed... I'm talking about the way Jordan used to travel right in the paint, and got away with it, and yes... I believe that might have been just a hair more than "respect from the refs." Whether it's from the front office or just an unspoken code among officials, I don't know... and maybe Elway benefited from some of that in his heyday, too. Hard to say.

I remember seeing some of the worst holding imaginable during Rich Gannon's glory days. (About a year and a half.) Lincoln Kennedy literally dragged a pass rusher down from the back of his jersey (from behind) in front of the camera. It went uncalled and Gannon threw a TD on the play.

It could be coincidence, and we should have won the game, anyway... but it was too blatant to disregard today.

why do you think TV couldn't find gold?

It's because he didn't do anything! It was a phantom call away from the ball....wow he got a little jersey and let go...lets flag it.

These refs were incredibly biased.

When you blow 13 point lead under 9 minutes to go, it's a breakdown. Using the refs is an excuse to me. You don't blow a 13 point lead late in the game and blame someone else. You blame yourself for not executing and getting it done.

There were some bad calls and some no-calls but that's no reason for not putting this game away when we had a chance.

Denver wasn't owned, they were robbed by the refs...I don't care if people think it's sour grapes, we should of overcome...

I will deal with the late placalling later...which was absolutely pathetic....right now I'm on the refs. I don't care WTF some troll says...the refs did everything they could to throw that game. I have never seen anything like it.

Does anyone have the names of that band of bandits?

It was so obvious they were on the take it was pathetic.

Yeah, it's getting obscene. I can get with the theory that "look, there's holding on every play, it's not always called" but what I can't get with is them making some phantom call on Gold, and then turn around and not call a couple holding calls on them.

Like most others, I hate to b**** about refs, but there were some pretty blatant holds, unless perhaps I don't know the rule as well as I thought I did.
