I'm guessing if he throws a pick...it will be Jake for the "goat"...in fact, I'd bet on it.

Strahan is going to eat Foster alive.
How bad is Foster's injury anyway? |

I, for one, would guess that Plummer would be the hero...assuming he doesn't throw away the game with turn-overs.
Reason: NY's secondary is 20-something...an invitation to pass deep & pass often. Goat: I agree with the prospect of Elam shanking a couple. The winds at the swamplands are tricky. |

We will accept no goats...all goats shall be decpitated and burned.
We will be more humane with prisoners like Eli Manning... We only burn our own.... ![]() Last edited by watermock; 10-23-2005 at 12:39 AM.. |

If it is wet, I would suspect that Plummer would have the same difficulties throwing as he sdid against Washington. (I wonder/think maybe he has somewhat smaller hands and does not grip the ball as well in adverse weather. I heard that a number of QBs have the same problem; it just seems worse with the Broncos. Elway had trouble gripping the ball in adverse weather.) If that is the case, Plummer may be the goat because of poor completion percentages. I do not believe he will throw the ball if in trouble, so no picks.
That means the Oline will need to open those holes and MA and TB need to get throught them for a few yards. Thus, they should be the heros, althogh you have to give the Oline a strong assist there. On D, I would think the LBs will need to keep an eye on Manning so he does not run. Overpursuit is the main danger here. Whoever keeps Shockey from catching one or two balls is going to be the hero on D. The goat should be the guy who misses the tackle or coverage that allows Toomer to get free. |

Hero: Plummer
Goat : No goat. Elam will appear to be so by missing two, then redeem himself by kicking the winning FG with 18 seconds to play, after Plummer gets them in position. Broncos 24-23 |
