Wrong. A number of cities and other governments have filed lawsuits against various firearms manufacturers. IIRC, the feds under Clinton tried the same thing, using the extortion of the tobacco industry as a model.

Ahhh, but paying lawyers and grinding through the judicial system isn't cheap. It's not free to get out of a frivolous lawsuit.

Ahhh, but paying lawyers and grinding through the judicial system isn't cheap. It's not free to get out of a frivolous lawsuit.
Instead banning lawsuits and removing the ONLY way to fight corporations, wouldn't legislation that provides for anyone who files frivolous lawsuits to pay both parties expenses be better?

That's not quite true - and the act in question doesn't ban all lawsuits.
