What does the rest of your roster look like and what are your starting requirements?

We start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, WR/TE, TE
starting roster is S. McNair, Edgerrin James, Ronnie Brown, Chad Johnson, Marvin Harrison, Santana Moss, Joey Galloway, and Jeremy Shockey so I would basically be subbing in K. Jones as my #2 back and D. Bennett as my fourth WR. I think the deal leans towards me because Ronnie Brown is going to be sharing carries with Ricky Williams, and Harrison has been shaky this year. Jones will continue to get the bulk of the carries with the Lions. |

I'd ask myself this question:
Do I feel more confident in Edge setting up Marvin Harrison OR Joey Harrington setting up Kevin Jones? Your looking good at #1+#2 WR so why not count on their production to make up for a drop off at #2 RB? Having edge and harrison posses some concerns but why not risk have two players on the best offense (even though they are being conservative)? I'm not sure about what your bench looks like but maybe go after a #3 RB on another team like a Bettis or droughns that will get either 25 touches or all the red zone tries, for a cheaper price of course like Moss. |

Pick up Kevin Jones!!!!!! Good closeout schedule and he's slowly starting to come around. Who knows how he'll produce when Garcia comes back and starts pushing Joey for time. If one of those QB's get the passing game to soften the D Jones will start putting up 100 yard games in addition to multiple TD's!
Also, Ronnie Brown WILL lose a lot of carries/touches to Ricky Williams. Take the trade brah! |

Good trade...even though I don't share same optimism for K Jones that Oskie does. But then he as too...several of his leagues depend on it.

yeah I'm a little hesitant about Jones too but sometimes you gotta roll the dice too win. Harrison is a stud but way too inconsistent..sometimes 100 yds and 2 TD's, sometimes 30 yds. I am hoping to average about 80 yds and a touch from K. Jones a week. Plus his bye week is done so I won't need anybody to cover him whereas Harrison still has a bye week. |

Does Kevin Jones even move his legs when he gets the ball?? Seriously, In college I sware Lee Suggs got all of the tough yards and then Jones would come in and turn the corner and start long striding to the endzone.
I don't think KJ will ever be a viable FFB starter, No Heart. But maybe a change in Scenery or Detriot lions Mentality will prove me wrong. |

the lions definitely need to get their **** together. They should have some expectations because they are in first place in the division right now. The reason why I still have high hopes for KJ is because he was the league's leading rusher the last eight weeks of the season last year. Maybe he takes half a season to warm up. I need to watch the lions game next week and see what the deal is.

Same here... I have a feeling that he'll do real well when his FB returns from injury. Cory Scheichengerbergierbob or whatever his name is, is one of the better blocking FB's in the league! |

I don't know if Cory S will do much for him. My friend is a big Lions fan so I have watched pretty much every lions game this season (that didn't overlap the Broncos) and I see a timid running back that is scared to hit a hole. He either loses 1 yard or more, or gains 5+yds. He never fights his way for 1 or 2 yards, or even back to the line of scrimage on broken plays. If I was a lions fan I would question his Heart. But, since I'm not, I'll just remember to never, ever, draft him in FFB.
My friend blames the O line and that could obviously be the problem, KJ may have no faith in his O line. But, If had heart, he would still make an NFL starting RB effort. |
