Default ESPN experts?

The combined "brain?"-trust at ESPN is now a combined 13-35 at picking the Broncos' games. If you throw out last week they would be 6-34. Do these guys even watch tape? Denver has historically had the biggest home-field advantage in the world and they pick against us at home?

Here is the fact that I love, Denver is 6-1 and they are making a ton of mistakes. No way to get the big head when you know you have so many things to work on. Penalties could have been huge today, mental errors, poor tackling and dropped passes could have killed them today. Instead, they came up with the plays when they needed to and stopped a very game NE team. Props to the Pats but here's to the Colts beating them in the Dome in the playoffs and the Broncos dropping the Colts in Denver.

Espn is too busy 'covering' little boys baseball (see Jackson, Michael) - they don't care about the Broncos- that's our job! It's time they owned up and they had to last week and will again this week. Any team at 5-1 right now in this league is really good, we just have to get a few playoff wins to get past the 'they haven't won since Elway was there' dogma.

Denver isnt as dominate at home as they once were. we also lost to the Pats at home so i can see why they would pick against us. our history of choking late in the season concerns them and it should until we prove otherwise. so far we are beating some quality teams but we have a long way to go before they will pick us to win anything.

5-1 not 6. I agree with most of your take...but I want the Pats to knock off the Colts, cause if someone doesn't, we'll be playing in Indy again. Their schedule is gonna give em home field.

Maybe Wyo is prognostically inclined?? Who knows.

Personally, I want ESPN and ALL the others to continue to run their mouths about how Denver is crappy and all of this is smoke and mirrors. I want them to push up the opponent and the Chargers, Chiefs and the Raiders.

Props to the Pats. 28-3 should have been the dagger but they fought back and nearly pushed for OT. Rod Smith came back huge after last weeks near disappearance. Is Champ injured again?? He had pretty poor stats for a Champ, is the only reason I ask.

Yep, as one of the commentators quoted during the game. if we continue to play like this those guys will become steals of the offseason.

Simms has been supportive of Denver from the beginning of the season.

I am happy about the W-L record, the DLine, the young DB's, Gold, Plummer's self control under pressure, Tatum, Rod Smith, the punter

I am still concerned about the OLine, the offense that cannot sustain drives to the detriment of tiring the defense, the lack of consistant wide reciever options to depend on (please stay healthy Rod), why does a big guy like Foster get pushed around at times,

I can't get the last few years out of my mind. Great season starts and stumbling, frustrating finishes. I am a fan, but I am not completely sold.

I couldnt believe it when he actually made a point to highlight Denver's DLine. He tried to make national stories out of our team instead of making the story revolve around the Pats' misfortunes. It was a great change of pace.

Dan. We probably have heard all variations of it over the years.
