I really have always liked the way we seem to match up with NE over the past 10 years. Here are my 5 reasons the Broncos will win on Sunday.

1. I think NE has always been soft against the run

2. Brady has had that "deer in the headlights" look in Denver before, and that defense wasn't half as talented as this one.

3. The Patriot secondary is really banged up.

4. The Patriot pass rush is really banged up.

5. Deltha plays for the Bungles

Everybody is saying that we can't run on New England but I think we have to run on them because thats our game.

I have heard prognostication that guys like Vince Wolfork on the DL and their backup LB's and secondary will suddenly become dominant in increased roles and basically attribute a Patriot triumph to the emergence of those players. It's not a good idea to pick against the Pats because they have been the most resourceful team in the league over the past 4 seasons, but the time will come where their reserves look just like any other reserves and get roasted. We all know that Brady is going to show up and play well. This game will boil down to how much our DLine and Oline want to win.

Keys to the game for Denver:

1. Running Game - Keeping the ball out of Tom Terrific's hands is paramount. success in the running game sets up the Plummer run/pass option, controls the clock, and sets the momentum. A tired Pats D in the 4th would set up the big play pass or run. Lelie is due.

2. Pass Rush - contolling the line of scrimmage will put pressure on Brady to make reads. Brady is great at making correct reads, but he can be rattled if he's getting hit. Our linebackers will have opportunities to make plays on the quick slants and screens that the Pats run if they can generate rush from the front 4. Controlling the line also means that the Pats will likely struggle against the run defense.

3. Discipline - Win the turnover battle/dont let penalties kill your drives and give them critical first downs. This almost killed us last week. If we win the turnover battle and convert, it will be a long day in Patriotville.

I, for one, would rather face a complete Patriot team then one that is depleted by injuires. It would be a better gauge on how our team fairs against the elite teams in the league. Yea, it would wind up in the "w" column nonetheless, but it's a win akin to kissing your sister, it just aint the same.

umm....beating them at their best is nice and all, but the key is the win. I am glad they arent healthy. These are the champs. Its going to be tough enough. We are desperate. We need to keep winning games. Its going to get real rough schedule wise, we need these wins, especially against tough teams that might be banged up so that we can slip through unscathed. I dont really care how we get them. We need to win. Beating a banged up Pats team isnt akin to kissing your sister as you say. Its akin to getting head from Kyla Cole. Its the Patriots and its a Win. End of story.

Injuries are part of the game. We're not 100%, either.

Dude, I don't understand people like you who make fun of somebody for a football take. Maybe its a simple take but its very true. It is our game to run the ball it sets everything else up for our offense. The play action pass is very important to this offense. Jake will have a very tough time trying to beat the pats being a pocket passer. So if you get off trying to make somebody else feel bad maybe you should look at your "jesus first thing in your avatar. Thanks for making a fellow bronco fan feel welcome!!
