Default TD & Rod yuck-it-up on NFL network today.

Watching TD on the NFL network today is still a sore reminder to this Bronco fan that he should still be in his prime instead of in the Booth. Not only a great back but great individual. His career was cut way way too short.

TD just visited the team yesterday for a pep talk.

Rod is creeping up on TD's TD record! 2 More TD for Rod and he ties DAvis for theTD record. !!!!!!!

TD cracked on Rod for all the Candy stuffed in his locker... snickers, hershey, whatchamacallit, etc. ....lol

TD knows what it takes to get to the SB, getting him in there for a chat is a great idea by the organization.

Griese should have been hung out to dry for ending TDs career. Well not really. I still can't get the play out of my mind when Griese threw that INT only to have TD go down trying to make a tackle I believe it was. I could only imagine how many yards and TDs he would if he was still playing with us right now.

Sigh.

TD has been a semi-regular analyst for the NFL network for awhile...

Oh horse****. Im all for Griese bashing whenever I get the chance, but interceptions happen to even the best QBs and offenses have to turn into defenders then and bad **** happens from time to time. Just bad luck is all, could have happened to any QB and any RB in any game.

You can say that again!

It will be a crime if he doesn't go to the HOF.

sorry if I was unclear.

Yesterday TD was in Denver. gave a pep talk in the locker room and sat in on the meetings.

Today TD was on NFL network linked via satelite with Rod ... Yucking it up.

Also, TD commented on the 9 on 7 drills and how they were in shorts. They never did that in the 'old days'... to wit Rod said it was to protect all the veterans on the D line. TD laughed and said Shanahan has softened up.

Also TD was blown away on the new workout facility the Broncos have. Rod responded with... that they could now affort this now that guys like TD, Elway, etc contracts were now off the cap.

First, the knee that caused TD to retire wasn't the one he had fixed with the ACL, it was the other one, altho both were probably shot, it was his other knee that made him retire, it's a little known fact. Second, it wasn't Griese who tore up his knee, yes, Griese threw a pick, but Lepsis is the one who rolled up on him.

I blame Griese for Td, Eddie, and Sharpes(collerbone) injury. Shiat, I pretty much blame him for everything during that period. It was the Greaseball curse after all.
