Yep, what a sad day for my Cavaliers for Butler to do that. but Virginia, being one of the classiest Universities out there suspended Butler for the next game. And Grohl appologized to the BC University for Butler's actions. In the end though BC had the last laugh as they beat us anyway.

Not really, it was his first infraction and he is not known for doing things like that. you can be harsh on players but also fair with them. ive seen our Broncos do similiar things yet no one is calling for them to be banned from the league. |

Looks very similar to that Foster hit from a year ago.
I think it was Foster, wasn't it? |

Foster's hit was dirty, Im not disputing that, but the play, while not near them, was still going on and Foster was just trying to get his man down on the field. At least, thats what it looked like to me. As it is, I dont think he intended for the guy to be hurt, just down on the ground. I dont know about indefinate suspension. One game seems kinda weak, but indefinate is too harsh. I dont watch college ball, but from what I understand the players are a lot more passionate about the game and their team, than at the pro level where it is just a business for 99% of the guys out there. This guy just took it too far IMO. Definately ejected AND suspended for at least the rest of the year, but not for the rest of his college career. |
