Can Brady Quinn, Darius Walker, Maurice Stovall, Rhema McKnight and company match USC point-for-point? Do you think Charlie Weis believes he can only beat the Trojans in a shootout?

This will be the first, and probably last, time I've ever rooted for Notre Dame.
I remember back in 1988 rooting like crazy for USC to beat Notre Dame in the final regular season game so Miami might have a chance at a rematch with the Golden Domers. The country deserved another Miami/Notre Dame classic, not Notre Dame vs. West Virginia. |

I'll root for the Domers. Tired of seeing USC at #1.

I'm predicting the upset and Blue and Gold roll to victory.....Being an Indiana guy I'm obviously wanting ND to win but ignoring my own desires I feel like this is setting up nicely for C.W. and ND to pull it off. Having two weeks to prepare is huge for a mind like Charlie.

Here is an ebay auction for a ticket to the USC-Notre Dame game, but there's a catch-the winner has to go to the game on a date with somebody's mother!
Very strange. I wouldn't let my mother sit with some stranger. http://cgi.ebay.com/A-Date-for-USC-v...ayphotohosting |

Should be one hell of game.
But I don't think even Weiss can beat their offensive fire power. USC by 3. |

Cheer, cheer for Old Notre Dame
Wake up the echoes cheering her name, Send the volley cheer on high, Shake down the thunder from the sky, What tho the odds be great or small Old Notre Dame will win over all, While her loyal sons are marching Onward to Victory |

As much as I hate USC, I hate Notre Dame more. All this hype will be wiped out by the second half. I can't believe they are even giving ND a chance. Yeah, they are home, and are well coached now...(the cries for Willingham have been silenced), but they simply don't have the talent they need to match up agains USC.

Teams like this batch of Trojans only come around every few decades. Sorry, Irish fans. 42 - 24, USC.

I don't normally watch college ball...but this is a good game.
I've always liked Pete Carroll. TD USC...five minutes to go! |
