Default Vulnerable Pats?

Hi folks, Pats fan coming in peace.

This looks like a really good matchup from the coaches to the waterboy. Bronc's seem to be catching us at a really good time, Looking at our schedule, if we came out of it 3-3 it could be considered a victory. But our boys hate losing. Injuries and retirement have decimated our backfield and I fully expect Shanahan to exploit us.If you have any recievers over 6 feet and Plummer can find them, we are screwed.

*keys for us;

Limit your running game

Get in Jake's face, show different looks and make him think.

Good luck folks, should be a good one.

Yeah seems like you guy caught the injury bug big time but somehow you guys keep plugging players in and find ways to win and Brady is doing one game winning drive after another. Welcome to the mane by the way....

New England is coming off of a few very difficult games, win or loss. Now they're on the road for a second week in a row after a very tough fought game in Atl. I actually like the intangibles for us in this game.

Getting Champ back would be a great shot in the arm.

Yeah, aren't you glad to be playing the 27th passing attack in the league this week?

I'm just praying for a nice sunny day. I could careless about the temp at gametime. I just want it to be a nice sunny day for this game. Our speed on defense just isn't good on wet fields. Speed has it's advantage, but it has it's disavantages also and I think a very wet field is one of them for us.

Denver has to, and I mean they HAVE to pressure Brady. Denver is getting killed by the quick slants and zero routes. Denver needs to go to a man coverage with saftey help and let our front 4 and LBers worry about the run game. I saw Coyer drop a lineman or two against Washington and it allmost made me throw up.

On offense, Denver has got to get the passing game going along with the running game. Jake needs to make better passes to his WR, and the WR need to catch the ones that hit them in the hands. Denver will not be able to relay on the running game outdoing the passing game every week, esp when the passing game is barley throwing over 100 yards a game.

This is a big game IMO. Denver needs this win big time. They have to go to a pretty good Giants team with better of the two Mannings playing right now, then come back home to face a Philly team who doesn't know who they are right now.

Also, I think Bell should get the bulk of the carries in this game. I think he is the better back for NEs defense.

You're in luck. Jake can't seem to find his groove when passing to his mini me's down field. Yeah, baby! He was last heard telling Lelie to go 'Shag' a deep ball. Shagadelic!

My name is Jake and I'm a porn star, baby!

On defense the Pats only need to do one thing properly. SHUT DOWN THE BRONCOS RUNNING GAME. A great deal of the Broncos passing game is setup by the running game. You force Jake into throwing too much and it's game over because Jake can't pass the ball consistently with success.

On offense the Pats need to run the ball with success. With two rookies on the Pats O-line, the Broncos D-line should be able to generate a lot of pressure and get in Brady's face. Even though Brady is great and take over a game, I can't see him passing successfully on the Broncos D if the running game isn't there. He will get teed off on.

After the skins game you bet. I think the Pats have one of the best quick strike offenses in the leauge. It seems everytime they are down and need quick points we see a beautiful deep ball by Brady and an easy over the shoulder TD. I think this game is gonna get ugly and the broncos are gonna need a WR like Lelie to step it up this weekend.

I think the broncos will nutralize your running game and put all the pressure on Tom Terrific. How thats gonna work out im not sure but I hope it works out in the Broncos favor...Heres to an injury free game and the best team winning!!!

Shanahan and Bill bring it...this should be good one. Brady is playing lights out right now. But we can beat you...you won by the skin of your teeth last time with a shrewd coaching move...taking a saftey..

Thanks for the welcomes.

I'm not sure what the attitude is toward Plummer but concensus seems to be make him beat you through the air. As he may be prone to making bad decisions. Throwing into double coverage etc.. But your running game is always scary and our bend but dont break defense has been broken quite a bit lately. Especially in the red zone.
On the other hand, Brady is Brady and he always seems to be able to muster just enough to win as his sick 60-16 W/L record will attest.

We are very spoiled here in N.E and all these injuries have us waiting for the other shoe to drop.

We knew what it was like to be spoiled. Once upon a time. Then staying competitive simply won't do.

The Belicheck/Shanahan chess matches are always fun.

Shanahan has seemed to know what to do about NE.....nearly every time in the last 10 years. For Denver to face a lot of good defenses early will prepare them for NE's attack.....although the 3-4 will present difficulties, especially for the boots. Best running game wins, IMO.

Don't worry about the attitude - worry about the altitude.
