School plays football double header - The Orange Mane

My old college coach Kirk Talley has whipped the sports nation into a frenzy, or at least stirred a stick for the nation about a little bible college that is going to do the unthinkable. They are going to play a double header in Football of all sports. Yes they play their first game against Trinity Bible college, the team that was beaten 105 -0 two years ago, but this is a different team and better coached now. Their second game is against Macalester which is a better funded D-3 school. I'm not saying this is dumb, but there are better ways to get media coverage for your team. I loved playing for him but I'm glad i'm not playing now.

I hope none of the kids get hurt...and if they do they should drop a lawsuit on the school. That's idiotic to say the least!!!

They won both games by large margins and didn't lose anyone to injuries, infact the starters didn't log more than 1 complete game during the course of the day's event. Talked to the coach this afternoon and he thought that it was rather fun and would consider doing it again to be able to fit 10 games in their schedule. He is worried about kids getting healthy for this weeks game though. More to come later this week when I talk to him on thursday.
