What always gets me about the Pentagon incident is that the goverment consficated security tapes from a gas station nearby that supposedly captured the plane or whatever it was coming in. They have yet to release these tapes.

Oh brother.

Here we go again.

One of the problems with the eyewitnesses who don't believe it was an airplane they saw is that most people don't have experience with planes hitting buildings. It's akin to folks who hear real gunshots and think it's nothing more than firecrackers. Most firearms do not sound like they do in movies and on TV shows - booms that are far more like howitzers or heavy artillery.

I wonder if most people need to be experienced to tell whether a plane is a small passenger plane or a 757?I wonder if they need to be experienced to see that the lawn in front the pentagon was hardly damaged at all?

I find the conspiracy theories regarding the Pentagon to be far more interesting from the point of view of the sociology and psychology of those who believe them than in whether or not a 757 actually hit it.

I've already provided several URLs that show that indeed a 757 hit the Pentagon, not a smaller plane or a missile, but that evidence is routinely ignored.

Why?

Do you mind posting them again? Here check this out: http://www.freedomfiles.org/war/pentagon.htm

Pay particular attention to the picture with the shadows.

I always have to chuckle at W*GS' compulsive need to smack down anyone who dares to question the official BushCo account of 9/11.

Even with such experience, people like W*GS would still close their eyes.

Just like they close their eyes to lies like "we never could have imagined that anyone would use aircraft as missles."

Coming from someone whose bitter hatred of Bush distorts his perception of reality to point of questionable mental stability, your comments don't mean much.

Regale us again with how 9/11 was just another fiendish plot by the Jews.

It's obvious that you love Bush. Everytime you come to his rescue. I mean seriously it's really obvious.

Sigh.

Are there any positions between LABF's pathological hatred of Bush and adoration of Bush?

Are you really that black-and-white?

On the pentagon incident itself: Being a military brat, I can honestly say that all the conspiracy theory around this is most likely because the military was being itself.

Case in point. While living in Valdosta GA. a C130 went down. It crashed fairly near a highway. The military cordoned off the area, and then forcibly confiscated film from people nearby that had taken pictures.

It was a C130.. not exactly a stealth bomber. It turns out that the military procedure surrounding these types of things is really and truly to take all the evidence and go sealed-lips on it.

Certainly creates fertile ground for conspiracy nuts though.

My mother-in-law (and my wife as she was growing up) live near Holloman AFB in New Mexico and they've witnessed a number of crashes - the old big plume of black smoke rising into the sky.

Good luck trying to get anyone from the AF or the WSMR to acknowledge it, however.

Replace "bitter hatred of Bush" with "blind loyalty and compulsion to defend Bush" in the foregoing sentence and you have a perfect summary of W*GS' mindset.

Speaking of skewed perceptions and "questionable mental stability...."

This is funny coming from someone like you who clearly has an adoration for bending over and taking it over and over from the Dubya admin. And to top it all off you call yourself a Libertarian

You certainly wouldn't be able to point to any such positions when observing W*GS' input on this forum (which consists of nothing but a tenacious defense of BushCo's every move and a pathological inability to distinguish between calls for accountability and personal "hatred.")

W*GS' habit of characterizing any criticism of Bush as "pathological hatred" reflects Bush's own mindset, not surprisingly.

Ain't that the truth?

W*GS will probably continue to kneel and bob for Big Brother until he notices his own chocolate ration starting to dwindle.

What's with the homosexual connotations? Are you modeling yourself after LABF?

Are LABF's views on Bush the only legitimate positions to have? Is it possible, just maybe, to be opposed to some actions of the Bush administration, neutral on others, and favor still others? Or do we all have to share the seething bitter hatred of LABF and his ilk to avoid personal and idiotic attacks like yours just above?

Your cred is dropping, Rigs.
