'Bye' week for the Queefs - The Orange Mane

I'm in a state of bliss:

1) Kansas City has a bye this week to regroup - he, heee, haaaa, haaa, rofl .
2) They then have to try to stop Portis (just look at his numbers vs. Chiefs and you'll know the outcome - Portis turned in arguably his best game as a pro in a key divisional rematch vs. 11-1 Kansas City (12/7), rushing 22 times for 218 yards (9.9) and a franchise-record five touchdowns to earn the NFL's FedEx Ground Player of the Week award for the second week in a row, and third time this season. He also added two catches for 36 yards (18.0). His five rushing touchdowns tied for second most in NFL history, while his five total touchdowns tied for fourth. He became one of 12 players in NFL history to record five touchdowns in a game. Portis' 254 total yards from scrimmage was the most in one half in the NFL since Shaun Alexander ran for 192 vs. Oakland (11/11/01). It was his third 100-yard half of the season and fifth of his career, bettering his previous high for a half (129 at San Diego, 9/7/03). ).
3) The Cheefs then have to visit Miami - Big question mark here?
4) Sandy Eggo then hosts them at home - good f-ing luck!
5) At this point they will be fighting the Fade in week 9 for sole position of the AFC WEST CELLAR

This, of course, is all entirely possible and therein lies the beauty!

Sure the Broncos are only a game ahead, Bob, but you have to look at the direction they're heading versus the direction the Chiefs are heading. The Broncs are convinced they're headed in the right direction. The Chiefs can't enjoy that luxury right now. They just have two weeks to think about their inadequacies and go through a serious gut check.

I wish the Chiefs luck. I hope the next game they play really means something for both teams.

Which after the Philly game now seems fairly possible this season. All we have to do is let KC go up 24-6 and the game is ours.
