I have a hard time seeing UT score 48 on our D since they won't be able to run the FB. VY will have to throw to beat us, and I really don't think he can beat us throwing the ball alone. FADERPROOF can atest to the fact that VY had 3 TO in the Ohio State game, and if Tressel plays Troy Smith instead of Zwick, it is probably a different game. tOSU played not to loose.

With that being said, it is a rivalry game, Stoops has Texas's number and until Mack Brown and prove otherwise, I will continue to pick OU

I really think Texas is underestimating OU, watching the Missouri game I noticed that during the first half the Tigers really hung with them, depth, talent took over in the second half and Texas rolled. More importantly OU has the mental edge over Texas right now, everyone is talking about how they have sucked it up lately against OU that has got to be in the back of their minds right now behind the Heisman talk and swagger, If OU can run, they have a chance, if the QB by commitee has to put the ball in the air, they could be in trouble. But this Buckeye is rooting for the Sooners!

Glad you are rooting for us. Bomar has been the starter since week 2 and Paul Thompson the backup QB is now a starting WR. No QB by commitee at OU. That's a Mack Brown coaching technique.

I can't stand Texas.... I have a lot of respect for OU.

That being said, I think this is the year Texas finally beats OU. Texas is just too loaded this year. If OU can keep it close, they have a decent chance.

This Husker will be rooting for the Sooners this week.....

Before OU made K-State look like a bunch of amateurs, I would have said that this was the year Texas was finally going to beat OU. Until Mack Brown can figure out Stoops, OU is the pick.

Vince Young is inconsistent. Texas defense seemed to play lazy last week.
OU lost way too many talented players in the last two years and the replacements haven't stepped up.

I'd love to see OU win, mostly b/c I don't like Texas (not even an OU fan)

but Texas can hit the short ball well and OU has sucked so far this year at stopping the short passes

that's why I think Texas wins

Vince Young gets all the hype, but WR Ramonce Taylor and RB Jaamal Charles are two of the most explosive athletes in the country. The Longhorns are the more talented team this season and it will show on Saturday. Texas 27 Oklahoma 13

Did you forget about the 34 points UCLA scored on you in Pasadena? Drew Olsen shredded your D for 314 yards and 3 TD.

Karl Dorrell and UCLA's juggernaut running attack was only able to muster 83 net yards of rushing against Oklahoma but Maurice Drew still averaged 4.6 YPC on 15 rushes.

Dont worry trout...this is OU/Texas...you will see the collective UT butthole slam shut if we go up early. It's a rivalry...all bets are off...

Maurice Drew had 40 yards on one tote late in the fourth when the game was at hand. We also gave UCLA the ball 3 times and they scored 17 points off the TO's, so good for them, we deserved to loose. (BTW, you take those 17 points away you have 24-24...)

All cliche's aside, this is a different team then what you saw at UCLA. UTerus won't score 48 on us.

Don't know if you've watched much Texas football this year, but the Freshmen RB's are STRONG! Charles and Melton will each go for a pair of scores before this game is said and done! UT easily has the deepest RB Corps in all of college football. S. Young, Charles, Melton, Taylor..... all of those guys can really play! Charles and Taylor are the burners. Selvin is the best all round back. Henry Melton is the big (6'3" 275#) freshman that breaks tackles like there's no tomorrow!!!
