Default Redskin Board comments

portis thread

Some good comments on this one, I guess they don't understand alot of the comments are jokes between rod and clinton, and now they're all fired up over it.

I especially like the comment
"I think we should throw screens to Portis so he can burn those slow linebackers"

I also love the comment about the slow linebackers. Hell, some of these guys haven't seen Denver play all year apparently.

Nothing like fans beating their chests because their team is 3-0 playing against squads that couldn't qualify for the special olympics. The Bears, well they're the Bears. The Cowboys owned them for 58 minutes until Roy Williams decided to take a mental vacation for two plays and the Seahags are perennial underachievers. They play in the NFC LEast and they've got the balls to say the AFC Best doesn't know tough football? Pretty lame, pretty lame indeed.

They won cause Sea's kicker hit the upright from 47yds. Sheesh. Does God hate us so much we cannot have a decent 1st rd pick?

We dont know tough football?

Not one team in the AFC West, not one, is giving up 100 ypg rushing. Oakland is the worst at 99.something.

Are all of the posters on that thread morons?

Do they not realize that Rod was joking around about Clinton?

Do they not only realize that the AFC has become the defensive minded league, not the NFC anymore? I think someone forgot to tell them it was 2005, not 1985.

Do they not realize that some of our LBs may be undersized, but I’d never call them “slow” (that takes the cake for the dumbest statement of the year from an opposing fan)

Do they not also realize that their 3 wins have come against Chicago (1-2) (possibly one of the worst offenses in the league), Dallas, who’s offense is looking a little suspect unless they play the 49ers and Seahawks who haven’t won a real road game in 5 years?

I mean I give it up to the Skins D, their D is awesome, but last year they hated Brunnell and now he is going deep on us with Moss all game long?

With that being said…we are still losing

By far the best quote on there was they were going to teach Denver how to pound the ball.

I expect an influx of Hogettes any minute. Extremeskins has the lowest average IQ of any team message board anywhere, hands down. But what they lack in intelligence they more than make up for in classlessness.

You must forgive them...many of them spend more time in their cars sitting in bumper to bumper traffic..listening to crap on the radio. Finesse football in the AFC West.....that's an oldtimer talking....it hasn't been like that for a long time. But as you can see...most of the morons are from Maryland...home of the moron.

It's funny, but Denver is almost the same team as the Seahawks when you look at the way they play. It's all finesse... if you hit them in the mouth, they may just crumble. Basically, if we stay disciplined against the roll out, we take away their entire passing game. Their running attack suffers against the blitz too. Coincidentally, we like to blitz.

I think it will come down to their O against our D. Plummer can be VERY mistake prone (anyone else laugh every time they think of the left handed throw?), and if we can pressure him and rattle him, we can hopefully create turnovers. That is what is lacking from our D this year, is turnovers. We need to generate fumbles, ints, etc. If we can force Plummer into a bad game, we will have a chance. But Mile-High is a tough place to play. We are going to have to play almost flawlessly on offense and pressure Plummer constantly on D to have a chance.

If you ask me these guys are missing the entire matchup. Good luck with your offense moving the ball skin fans.
