i just heard Theisman in the Charger game complain about the inconsistency of the refing when it comes to Qb personal fouls? i would consider that a fineable offense if Shanny got fined for it.

I have never had a problem with the league fining folks. If they didn't we would hear about the refs from whiney coaches day and night no matter what they called or did not call.

The League has already gotten one TV show canceled and tried to get another stricken from advertising on their broadcasts. So, I think the next logical progression would be to try and influence the announcers on those broadcasts. The only reason it won't happen is because the media would shriek bloody murder, as they would be greatly offended by censorship that hit that close to home. They're more than happy to overlook what doesn't directly impact them, though.

So that is why Dicky 4Meals is usually crying after a game. Instead of questioning the refs crappy calls, he just cries so not to get fined.

Considering Joe has had a decade to develop into even a average "analyst", I think that might be too much to ask. He's ESPN's baby, the NFL can't touch him except thru civil court for defamation, and we all know he's a kiss ass anyway. Don't bother throwing pebbles against a brick wall. Besides, I like it when Maguire gets a little drunk and starts making fun of him. He must of been warned, because he's toned it down this year tho.
