My worse fears are becoming true i think. Vtech absolutely CRUSHED the Yellow Jackets. i know Gtech isnt a barn stormer but damn the Hokies may just end up in the title game and we know they can give USC a good game.

Right now, I am firmly of the belief that Vag Tech and Texas are the best teams in the nation.

I don't know... USC is pretty damn good. They are strong on both sides of the ball. VaTech is a much better team defensively than offensively. Obviously they're one of the best ST's Teams in the nation as well. Offensively they're not that scary. UT would be scary good if they had some decent WR's. They don't need a trio like Roy Williams, Sloan Thomas, and BJ Johnson... but they could sure use atleast one of those guys right now! Limas was supposed to step up and hasn't. Shipley can't find the field. If not for a 4 headed monster at RB that features TWO freshmen and a do everything QB they'd be in trouble. I'm also not real impressed with their LB's. Secondary is decent mainly b/c Michael Huff. I hope we take a flier on him in the 06 draft. He's not quite as good as VaTech's Williams but he can certainly bring it. Speaking of Williams. Why don't we just get it over with. With our 1st first round pick draft Mario Williams (DE, NCST). 1b. we go with Jimmy Williams (I think that's his name, CB VaTech). 2nd round, we send a pick to move up and grab DeAngelo Williams (RB, Memphis). That would give us 5 Williams' ALL of which can PLAY! You can't go wrong. What about the OL you say...... just call me Dom Caper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |

Let's not get crazy here...we're(Alum
) good, but there's a bunch of football. I'm still enjoying the hype though. |

Hype wise I agree...but damn...offensively we aren't there yet...The guys that makes the wheels go around are the defense...especially Tapp...who I think with end up being a top five pick one day. Still gotta beat team #5. |

USC is damn good? Is that why they were one bad call away from being down 20-0 in the first half against an average Oregon team? USC got exposed...AGAIN. .
