Default Broncos/Chargers Replay

Don't know if it's been posted yet (I didn't see it) But the game will be re-aired on the NFL Network Thursday at 9pm (est).

So basically, tune in around 10:30ish to see the 2nd half, where we actually play well.

Actually revisiting what went wrong in the first half is something I'm very interested in.

Well, if ya do tune it, make sure to watch Lelie's block on a DB on the play Jeb scored/didn't score on.

I've been trying to revisit that on my own replay, and it's so hard to see what's going on with pass patterns on TV. Obviously, when Plummer is throwing 3-5 yd completions on 3rd and long, something is not clicking right. From what I have been able to spot, there's too many slow-developing patterns. Or maybe the recievers aren't looking around fast enough when the blitzes are coming. Once in a while, you get the right TV angle where you see Plummer is in big trouble, and you'll see a receiver with his back to the LOS. Simething is not clicking right, and some of it is receivers maybe don't recognize a zone and find the hole in it, turn around and face the QB?

It's pretty apparent Plummer is going to have a lot of rush on him this year, but are the receivers getting open? I used to call the Broncs 3rd receivers the guys that could find 2 defenders to run into, and would I be wrong to say the same about the TE's this year? The passing O has to get the ball moving, as teams are going to stop the run at all costs. There were a few people getting on Plummer for not audibling, I can't address that, all I can say is there sure seems to be a few Bronco receivers running directly into a defender. I don't think the O is designed that way.

You guys sure about the game? I just checked NFL Network and it says Vikings and Bengals. (Talk about dull.) Where did you see this listed?

Well, if you do get to see a replay only of the 2nd half, you'll see a nice 3 phase game played by the Broncos in the second half. And the 4th phase, the crowd, was in it also.

Reminded me of Eddie Mac on Williams in the Super Bowl - very nice solid hit. Lelie actually squared up - just like Ed - and laid the hammer down.

Wow. Wow. Wow.

The DB gets some airtime going in the wrong direction on that one!

Im surprised that Lelie wasnt fined for that one. Or maybe they could find some way to pin it on Lynch.

I like the reaction of #27 after the hit...jerks his head around to look upfield to make sure nothing like that was coming his way. Thanks for the clip Perry1977.

The replay of the game should have Ian Gold miked up. These are really cool replays that have the coaches miked up as well. It will be worth watching.

The interesting thing is that they will probably show the halftime speech of Coyer. They did the last time they were the game of the week.

I missed that block on the touchdown, pretty f'n amazing. Lelie laid him out. Reminds me of the McCaffery block against the packers.
