Default Mr.Adams

I dident see anything about our 3rd WR this week so I wanted to give him some much needed props he played well and could have had more catchs and more yards if Plummer would have hit him in the #s while he was wide Open...

Cheers to Mr.Adams and heres to torching the Chefs...

He was mentioned a few times. Props to him. He caught 3 passes and one was a tough catch. He didn't drop any. What more can you ask for??

I remember in preseason some poster here on the Mane said that if Adams is any good than he would have contributed before now. That logic was so flawed I didn't respond. Needless to say he is and will prove his worth this season.

Watts ain't getting his job back.

He did play well, but he actually did drop one. It was the 3rd and 8 play before Elam missed his first field goal. The pass was a little high, but still catchable.

You mean the one that Plummer put where he could barely reach it

"If you can touch it, you can catch it". Like I said it was a little high, but still catchable. And, like I also said he played well. Rod dropped an easy one, but I am not bagging on him. Drops happen, high passes happen.

Plummer really makes his WRs work for it.

When an accurate QB comes in, the WRs are gonna have a field day.

Plummer isn't that accurate. The WRs for Denver have to get used to catching balls that aren't in their chest. It'll be a little high, a little low or to the left or right. They will be catchable but they are hardly ever ideal. They do a good job catching Plummer.

Plummer was also very accurate on several passes FROM THE POCKET. Like I said, it happens...

I know, Plummer is a mediocre QB but I was just trying to defend Adams, because I dont know if I would consider that a droped ball.

I think Plumme can be a good QB. He just isn't a good passer. But he runs the huddle well he has good leadership and a huge desire to be successful and he is respected by his teamates. He is the anti-Jeff George. George was a great passer but he had none of the other intangibles that Plummer has.

I hardly ever get on Plummer he is what he is. He isn't a great passer but he does a lot of good things that can help Denver win.

I agree...I see him as a good temporary fix. He will win us some games and do what is need for the team to be sucsessful now...down the road in a year or two I dont think he fits in our plans.

Could't agree more. I was in no way trying to disrespect what Charlie Adams did Sunday, I was just pointing out that I thought he dropped that ball when I saw it live, and the announcers pretty much said the same when I went back and watched the game again.

One thing I will say about Plummer in the game Sunday, as well as last year, is that he needs to tuck it and run more if he can't find anybody. I sit in the west stands in the corner of the south end zone, so when teams are driving towards the North end zone I get a good vantage point of what they are looking at. One play in the third quarter Plummer had great time, but no one was open. The middle of the field was WIDE OPEN. Rather than taking it up the middle for 4 or 5, he rolled right and threw it out of bounds. I am not sure what is holding him back. It seemed like in 03 he would scramble more often.
