Default Tatum Bell

what happened to him?

Did he get hurt or something?

I saw him on a special teams play looking at his knee, but they went to a commerical and didn't say another word about him

I was wondering the same. He was down on that ST play, and nothing else was said.

Good question and something I wondered as well. Maybe the need for a grind-it-out back kept him on the bench.

We didn't need him the way Dayne was running. Wow...I was very impressed with how he ran the ball. I hope Bell is ok but I think Dayne is going to be tough to beat out.

I don't think the coaches trust him in the passing game. And we passed far too much again this week.

i agree. Bell is not a great blocker at all and he would of been a liability. To me he looked ok coming off the field, but i think the staff also wanted to see what Dayne was made of.

If he's out for a while we just cut Ernster and bring Q back, that is if he hasn't signed for anyone!!

Interesting that when came down to the game on the line it was Dayne out there and not Anderson or Bell. I hoping it was minor minor injuries vs lack of confidence.

Write it down. Ron Dayne will be starting by week 5.

I cant believe Shanny doesn't learn his lesson. HE loves to put our top RBs in harms way on Special teams.

Both Anderson and Q hurt for the season last year on ST when any of the other guys could fill that role and now Tater. At least limit it to someone like Sapp on ST.

Anderson's goal line fumble may have been due in part to his ribs, but he has ALWAYS had that tendency to drop the rock in the red zone. When he runs he swings those long arms around and the ball always looks precarious. Even on this play he had both arms on it, but watching it again in slow motion, his elbows were flaired out as usual and not tight against his body and the ball was loosely cradled down near his lower stomach and out it went and cost us 7 and the early momentum.

MA needs to go to the Tiki Barber school for curing fumblitis. Tiki carries it now with his elbow locked against his side and his hand over the tip of the ball nearly touchning his chin and rarely fumbles.
