Default Question about your backfield

In one of my fantasy leagues i have Mike Anderson. I am hesitant to start him because i do not know the status of your lineup... are you guys going to use a RBBC? spell the starters often? Bell is available on the waiver wire, and i don't have enough roster spots to pick him up as a handcuff... in other words it is either/or.

Who do you chose?

Pick MA...He will usually get the goal line stuff and most of the carries. If Bell scores, it will usually be on a big play.

MA is the guy for right now and it's his job to lose. He does well near the goal line and Shanny will get Mike 20-25 carries a game.

If Anderson performs poorly or has fumble problems, Bell well be the starter. But until then......

Start Mike Anderson, if he does well in the first game, he will be starting until he doesnt perform, at which point you wont want to start him anyway.

Bell will be the starter by week 4 or 5. So pick him up after week 3 if he's still there.

He could run for 150 yards against the Phins this week.

These guys are all lying to you because you're a Dolphins fan. Not cool, guys. We should at least try to welcome posters from other boards without hostility.

Anyway, Texas... right now Q. Griffin looks like he's going to be getting the most reps. Anderson is slated as the starter, but Griffin and Dayne look to get the bulk of the carries. Dayne is probably on the wire in most leagues, so go ahead and pick him up... and bench Anderson in week one. Give Griffin the start, and keep Dayne as a safety option.

Good luck!

Dayne's had his moments, but I think Maurice Clarett would make the better safety net.

Thing about it is, though, that Shanny isn't afraid to switch main TB's if Tatum Bell starts producing, and he will have the opportunity. So, if you have MA, you need to work your bench. If someone will give you Tatum cheap, or he's on waivers, and you have room for him with the bye week thing where you need non-Den starters, you might want to think about him.

In FF I have one simple rule. I never draft Denver Broncos RB. I can't pick them up off the meat pile I don't want them. There are some good suggestions in this thread you can get in the meat pile cheap. I think Maurice Clarett would a great pickup. Do not let anyone know you got the hot tip. Everyone will want to post here.

AND FOR THE LOVE OF PETE! Don't forget to pick up Jerry Rice! He's our go-to guy in the red zone!
