Hey you guys got 113 in that barn burner of a game.

Yet somehow you are 2-0 tied for first with Hoary Mangina's. Good thing Paco didn't start T Jones. He must be suffering from the same virus I am in the NPN league...leaving more points on our bench then what our starters scored.

I was so bummed that I lost and wouldn't have if I had started Shockey ( doh! ) and Edwards. Then I looked and saw Sideburn had lost too and I felt a bit better.

Good game, OSKIE! When I checked the score Sunday night and was behind by 17, I really thought your team was gonna win... but then Tiki came through for my team.

I hear ya, I left points on my bench too. Plus I got beat by a team that has the word 'mangina' in it's name.

Ahaahahahahaa, funny....NOT.

I was going outside with my ski boots slung over my shoulder last year. It was early in the morning and we'd been having this weird weather. My husband tells me to be careful on the roads cuz they're probably slick. Doesn't bother to mention the steps might also be slick. I took one step and that's all I took. I bumpity, bump, bumped down the rest and cracked my tailbone.

I still went up and skied that day though. I'm badass.

Funny story, My car was blocked in one night and I needed to run to the store and get some sticks. (I'm a nonsmoker now btw...3 whole weeks). Anyways, I ended up digging my sister's old bike out of the garage and riding it up to the store. I haven't been on a bike since I was 12. Man...it sucked. But I made it!

I don't know what size your bike seat is, but I swear mine was made for my 8 year old daughter's tiny hiney. That is some painful ****. I am going to go swipe the big fat, gel cushioned seat off an AirDyne soon.

Wahoo, non smoker!!

Ouch sounds rather painful.

Went sledding with my dad about 10 years ago and that led to an unfortunate event as well. We were going down a steep hill in a tabogan and I was "driving". The hill ended at an old creek bottom. I tried to steer that crazy thing and shift my weight to one side to get that crazy thing to go anywhere but straight. But nope it didn't. We went off one edge of that creek and landed on the other...right onto a bolder. Broke my dad's tailbone in two places. He doesn't let me drive anything anymore.

Sometime I'll have to tell you my skiing stories. I've been to the hospital more times then I'd like to admit. Being an engineer you would think I would understand the physics of trees being able to withstand an impact better then me but for some reason about every 2-3 years I try to test physics and I always lose.

Mangina and I have also agreed to a trade...not nearly as big as yours but a trade nevertheless.

Just a recap of the trades that just went through:

Shack gets Bulger, D Mason, and Willie Parker.
Bman (Oskie) gets M Bennett, B Favre, and T Owens

I get Isaac Bruce and Shayne Graham
Magina gets Kevin Barlow and M Stover

No action for a while and then bam two multiplayer deals. If you were invovled in these trades you might want to check your starting roster!!!

Starting roster is updated. I truly think that I gave up an awful lot to get T.O. I think Willie Parker will bring some big points for the rest of the year. But I would have given him up for a straight swap for TO... I knew Shack wouldn't do it though and with his question marks I can see why. I really didn't like giving up Marc Bulger. He has 8 home games left and he's usually a lot better QB at home! Favre should be okay b/c he'll have to put the ball up a lot b/c of a terrible defense...they'll play a lot of catch up ball. That will bring the yards, unfortunately it will bring the INT's too. If he can give me 14-17 points per game I'm more than happy. I could afford to lose Parker b/c I have 4 other RB's on my team that should put up atleast 10 points on a consistent basis... If Michael Bennett finds the light (doubtful) I'll have a stable of RB's to choose from! Bennett is rumored to be traded to AZ. IF that goes through he could come alive. Again, doubtful but a possibilty. Like I told Shack though, I threw Bennett in the mix b/c he's better than anybody I can sign as a FA.

New starting lineup:

Favre/Griese depending on match-up
McGahee, Kevin Jones, Diaper Johnson, TJ Duckett and M. Bennett
Terrell Owens, Anquin Boldin, Lee Evans, Brandon Lloyd, and Greg Lewis
Tony Gonzalez (needs to get some points...he's been poor so far!)
Vandercrack (doing well so far)
Panthers and Bears D's

I'm now strong at WR with Boldin, Owens, and Lloyd
I stay strong at RB with my big three
I drop off a good bit at QB with Favre and SOB... I should be able to play the matchups though.

Pretty tough lineup on several teams (Side, Shack, yourself, me, etc). Should continue to be an interesting season.

Sideburn, just offered up a trade to you. I forgot to mention that you'll get a RB in return that will have already sat out his bye week!!!!!!!! That will help a lot!

What are you talking about? Kevin Jones and Lee Evans for Westbrook and Engram is FAIR! What do you expect McGahee and Owens for Westbrook and Engram? ..... LMAO, if you would have looked at Kevin Jones 2nd half of the season and his week 16 matchup you would have probably thought long and hard about it!

I'm not so sure about that... All three players probably start for his team. Willie Parker is obviously a bigtime upgrade over Bennett and will allow him to play 3 RB's rather than 2... If you look at it this way it makes a bit more sense.

Before he was avg. about 15 with Favre, 21 with Owens, and 0 with Bennett. Now he'll avg. 17 with Bulger (+2), 24 with Parker (+3) and 10 with Mason (+10).

He's gaining points. I'm losing a couple per game with Favre but I've been leaving a top 10 RB on the bench every week in Larry Johnson. Now I can play him so losing Parker doesn't kill me. The only way I make out in this trade is if Parker goes down. He's avg 24.5 pts per game. Even if Bettis comes back to do short yardage you're looking at 18 points per game from your third RB! That would be the highest on his team!
