I guess that's what today's press conference is for. Broncos.com has it at 11:30 MDT

On a side note, this is honestly the best thing to happen to the Donks, even if your #3 sucks.

Matt Mauck or Chris Watton I suspect will be brought back.

One roster spot will soon open and one practice squad spot still available. I'll be interested to see who fills those voids.

Best of luck, Jerry! You are going to have one whale of a pension check from the league each month!

I wish we would have just released Rice to start with and kept Dorsett Davis. He's looked too good this preseason to lose his spot to an old guy with no upside at the bottom of the depth chart. Maybe it won't be too late to bring him back.

I'm a bit suprised, but I like the move. Nobody deserves a roster spot just because of who they are. I'm wondering if we will get another WR or address a different position.

If we want Davis we could bring him back, but I doubt we do.

This is for the best imo. Denver should bring in an offensive lineman to fill the roster spot.

This is good news. What position you guys think we should get for that roster spot?

OL or QB. I think the OL wold be the better choice

I'll be glad to put this thing to rest. Let's get someone on the roster that deserves to be on the roster. I'm sure Mike has someone in mind to make the 53. He probably did when he quietly asked Rice to retire.

True. Atleast our young receivers seemed to pick up some good workout habits from jerry. Thats will only help us as well. Hopefully they will keep their work effort up

i know we're all nervous about only having 7 guys on the o-line, but
we do have 2 on the practice squad also.

that said, im in favor of bringing back one of the defensive linemen we cut.

palepoi, davis, or fatafehi.

get one of them back.

Can anyone remember when we ever kept 6 WR's? Seems like this was "The Plan" all along.

I think Shanny had an agreement with Mauck or an o-linemen for Jerrys spot all along. Broncos are all about class!!

So true. And Shanny only dresses 7 linemen on gameday, so having an extra Olineman on the 53 man roster wouldn't help there anyways.

If one goes down, we stick it out on gameday w/who we have, and bring either Pears or Myers up to the 53 man roster if injury hits us.

Not saying I like this thinking, but I wouldn't get your hopes up of bringing in anymore linemen.
