Wesley Duke and Roc Alexander. I know there are Roc haters but I like Roc over Paymah. Roc is also a very good special teams player. He cant cover worth a **** maybe, but he can tackle.
I never really considered Devoe or Adams as "bubble" players (although they were). It was obvious Shanny was going to have to keep them. They have to much talent to let go. Last edited by Bronco9798; 09-03-2005 at 07:43 PM.. |

Roc Alexander. He's my adopt-a-bronco. the guy who said he can't cover is only thinking about the Indy game. Yes, he did get schooled, however, he covers very well, and he tackles even harder.

He's also an UDFA who has outlasted the DBs from his draft.

There were three bubble guys I wanted to see make the cut: Green, Ernster and Duke.

the way duke managed to get open against the cardnials was pretty impresive, i think in the next few years he'll be almost as good as the old 84
I see a lot of 4 or 5 wide sets with smith, lelie, putzier, and duke in the future |

I'll tell you one thing, Duke's physique sure reminds me of another TE that used to play on the Broncos. Hmmm. The name isn't coming to me.

I have always been a big supporter of Adams but I had to go with Devoe just for what he has accomplished this year. Entering training camp he was 9th on the depth chart.
Good job Todd you have earned it!!!!!!!!!!! |

I've been banging on about Nate Jackson Since last year - when healthy he's a really solid posession guy with great hands, but he seems to be constantly struggling with injuries all the time. He made a few clutch receptions in real games last year before he got banged up and probably would have lit up the preseason had the same thing not happened.
Devoe and Adams are exciting, but they have yet to really make a play in a real game yet (although for the record I'm confident that they will!!). |

I like Roc as a ST guy, but he won't be seen in coverage any time soon; and we're lucky for that fact. |

Devoe has that 2nd coming of Rod feelgood story going on, but I am glad we kept Green who may be the 4th best LB we have.

Duke impressed me and was my answer. I hope we find a way to get him involved in the offense quite a bit.
