Default Questions about our DB's

The way Roc tackles, I wonder if he's big enough to play free safety? He's fast enough.

Because we have fast LB's, we can get away with poor safety plays. But our weakness on defense definitely in that area. Granted it was the first game with the team, but the new guy we picked up ?Marques Anderson? did not impress me at all. We had some poor tackling with Paymah and LeSuer too.

Wanna know what you guys think.

I think our Safety position is the weak link on the defense...which, having watched this defense, is something like saying the toggle switch for a drink dispenser is the weak link of a Rolls Royce

Marques Anderson actually looked ok in coverage. I know its preseason and its the "other" Anderson but at least he didn't suck back there all day.

We could be in trouble if we get a few injuries and we know Walls can't stay healthy. I'm still concerned about Champ's hammy.

Aren't we glad we picked as many corners as we have this draft? Darrent can hold his own. Foxworth and Paymah aren't in the same class, with an edge to Foxworth. If I were Shanny I would cut Paymah and keep Roc, but that's just me. Bronc's may be downplaying Champ's injury, but i doubt it. He's been so durable throughout his career. Wells is not as dependable skill or injury wise. Darrent being a rookie still, I am not sure we have gotten much better minus Kelly Herndon, who is playing like a different man in Seattle, albeit preseason.

Safety position really concerns me. I never liked Kenoy that much, but we still don't have his replacement. I hope this Marques dude can play, cuz we got nobody else there. By the way, Lesuer sucks.

Overall, i hope our Dline and LB's cover multitudes of sins this year.

...And is it just me, or our DB's don't even try to go for the ball?
