They talk about it going back down to "around $3.00" here and people are acting like it's going back down to a buck and 1/2......amazing

I feel pretty good now. It's 2.75 to 2.88 here in Waco. We get our gas from Houston so I imagine that's why it's cheaper.

Keeping up with gas prices here is hopeless. Its all just a big game to these station managers as they go up and down 30-50 cents every day. The 'bargain' you got yesterday is now more than the 'expensive' stuff today.
The shell game continues... |

$2.81 here in Anniston, Alabama. Well that is the cheapest. There is another station about 3 blocks from this place that is at $3.05. Crazy.

In town last time I was there, it was $2.79. The bastards out here where I live ( 20 miles out of town ) in our little town are bending us over for $3.05!
I find this incredibly irritating since I got a new car 2 months ago and of course, it's a gas guzzling beast. ![]() |

Reviving this old thread here for a banner event.....gasoline has finally dipped below $2.00 here to $1.97.
As I said over three years ago, I never thought I'd see it under $3.00 again, much less in the dollar and something range again, so I stand corrected. I have no illusions about it staying here though....5 bucks by next July, so enjoy it whilst you can! |

Anyone live in Parker, Co? Gas there is always 10 cents cheaper than in Denver. Last I saw was 1.55, could be in the 1.40's down there. |

They're already talking about gas going under a buck a gallon.....unless the economy rebounds big time, which it won't, there is no way gas will be $5 a gallon this summer.

Amazing what happens when you take the speculators and Wall Street shysters out of the equation.
