Yes, they got some nice shiny toys for the offense.

But Norv Turner is still their head coach and Chiefs fans know how well keeping the same players and changing the scheme works for fixing a defense.

No...We already went over this with Raiders Rock last week. Nobody here fears the Raiders. Only fear around here is RR fearing the Broncos.

Yes. They are a real threat. I have been impressed by their first stringers this preseason. Young but very talented line with Gallery, Grove and Walker. Skill positions are very strong. Collins has looked really good so far. Defense still quite problematic on each of the three levels but not as awful as people think. LBs are gonna really struggle though. Overall, it is a team to be reckoned with.

As I expanded on my point above, their offense will cause great problems even for good defensive teams like us. And if they play more 4-3 this year and reorganize their parts a little better rather than forcing guys like Brayton to be a LB, the defense wont be god awful. It will be still be below average to be certain but not dead last or anything. Maybe around the early 20s.

I have a healthy respect for all Division rivals. It is very hard to win a division game on the road, but fear...no. We will be the best team but that doesn't always = Win.

I think pretty much all four teams are equal this year.

ok so we have some people who fear the raiders and 8 votes for no...something doesn't add up.

I agree Hogan **** the Raiders. They are still a below .500 team until they prove otherwise. No fear here.

I give them 8 wins @ best.

It doesn't matter if you fear them. It's how you play them that day. We're a better team, but that don't mean squat if you don't show up that day.

Here's the number one reason why I don't fear the scumbag Raiders:

8 seasons as NFL head coach, 1 postseason appearance

Bah, that's ridiculous. The Raiders are clearly the losers of the 4.

Everyone in the division has an offense. Denver and SD have good defenses, and KC should be at least average this year on D.

Oakland did almost nothing to improve theirs.

Oakland did almost nothing to improve theirs.

We didnt make the sexy moves that KC did, but to say we did nothing is ridiculous.

T Ed Jasper/ex-Falcon, June 27; LB Jay Foreman/ex-Texan, May 12; UFA CB Renaldo Hill/ex-Cardinal, April 11 (one year); UFA DT Kenny Smith/ex-Saint, March 31; UFA DE Derrick Burgess/ex-Eagle, March 12 (five years, $17.5 million); UFA RB LaMont Jordan/ex-Jet, March 3 (five years, $27.5 million, $11 million guaranteed); WR Randy Moss/ex-Viking, March 2 (acquired from Minnesota in exchange for LB Napoleon Harris, the seventh overall pick in the 2005 draft and

KC's defense couldnt keep one of the leagues best offenses in the game. Our defense had to contend with the worst TOP, the worst rushing attack and a middle of the pack scoring offense. Hell, we were in both of those KC games with all this working against us. Those factors all figure to improve.

Wrong again. The Chiefs were in every game. In some cases the defense kept the offense in the game.

Meanwhile the Raiders lost by double digits FIVE TIMES. FOUR of those were complete blowouts.

And I said you did ALMOST nothing. Signing a few bit players qualifies.

None at the hands of Kansas ****ty though!

It's not like our starting quarterback went down or anything.

We lost 6 games by 7 or less.

And you're stuck with the same QB. Does that mean another losing season?
