They also said Clarett would get plenty of playing time in the next preseason game, so that would suggest that he won't be cut this week.

She said Shanny told her they've been trying to get Maurice Clarett to fit, but he doesn't really know what really working out and hard work means .

I heard a comment that Shanny has spoken to Clarrett about 10 times regarding his practice work ethic- doesn't look good for Moc.

The dipwad Cheffies just don't get it. Bobby Turner asks for a pick. Shanny gives him the compensatory, no questions asked. The contract is worth zip. Clarette can't cut it. Adios. Move on. So Bobby's batting .800 on RBs. The Cheffies only wish they had him. Sour grapes.

I have a tough time believing it and I don't even like MoC. Seems to me it's more of a swift kick in the ass for him, IMO.

I wish they would cut him tomorrow ... I am damn tired of hearing so much about a player that has done so little. He is of no concern to me... please cut him, let the knuckleheads rave about a wasted 3rd rounder.

There are about 138 other things of note to talk about...

Bah, I have limited faith in any reports like this. However, I personally would have liked it if we took Brandon Jacobs over Clarett. ;P

Cut him and get it over with. It would be a favor to him. He'll have more time to hook on with another team.

Mo's sense of entitlement is so ingrained that he'll always look for the easy way out.

Uh....yeah.

Cheffies feel like the Donks pissed away a 3rd round draft pick for a player that may have very well went undrafted. We also feel like you pissed away a good RB in Droughns. Sour grapes? Whatever helps your denial, my friend.

Just dont feel dejected when you are ridiculed by others. As it is justified.

The difference between ridicule and envy is the final score.

Did you get a chance to catch Mike Anderson last night? The Colts defense certainly didn't. We'll be fine at RB. I almost miss the days that people wouldn't even question the Broncos decisions at RB and simply call it "the system".

You'll love him till you need him to catch a ball. Then you will remember why he was demoted. If Anderson is the best back on the roster, then that means there have been several questionable moves at the RB position this year. Wouldn't you agree?

Actually, he's a pretty solid receiver. Not a Marshall Faulk type of receiver, but he catches it when it's thrown his way. He made a couple plays last night on receptions. Still, I think Bell is going to be starting by midseason. Not because I think MA will fail, but just because I think Bell's more of a gameday player and will get a chance to show that at some point.

Nope. You're just a pissed off idiot that knows your team can't tackle so you try get some comfort by, once again, arguing that our run game has problems. That's right, crazyhorse is trying to make the case that our rushing attack has issues. Thanks for playing, moron.

Portis' rookie year, he was having a real nice pre season, right up until the last game against AZ, when he fumbled three times and lost two of them. I stole him in the fifth round of some fantasy drafts and made some money that year. I wonder how far Tatum will drop in fantasy drafts this year.

I think the reason bell got so little carries is because he will get extensive action next week vs. cards. At least i hope he will get some more action. I wanna see how he does with at least 10-15 carries.

Clarret will probably be cut, but once again many ppl outside Denver will forget he was a Compensatory pick!! we were given a free choice to grab a guy who could make a difference. Obviously Moc. hasnt so i hope hes gone.

Part of it will depend on how astute the folks in your league are. If they simply bought one of those fantasy guides that are a couple of months old, he may go in the one of the first five rounds. If most of them have paid attention the the preseason, I'd expect him to available late.

It will be interesting to see how this situation plays out. If MA stays healthy and plays on par with how he played in 2000, Tatum won't get a chance. I think MA will get nicked up at some point and Tatum will show his stuff. We'll see.
