I think Callahan scared the Michigan players back to the sideline since he was doing a throat slash gesture at them

It was justified, we just won. How did CU do by the way?

Wow!!
Exciting game, I think I'm still drunk this morning at work.
Michigan had no answer for Ross, averaging 5.8 ypc.
The poor officiating went both ways. Looked like a preseason game at times, funny what a month off will do - bring in a playoff format.

Big win for the Huskers.

Penalties:
Mich 6-49
Neb 9-76

Nebraska had two touchdowns taken off the board. Not saying it was lopsided against Neb, but it was at least even.

Welcome Phantom! Good take there and thanks for posting the penalty stats.

How's the weather back there in Omaha, that's where I'm from originally.

Oh my brother, no need to worry, if you have read my past posts you'd know I hate cannaspam. But considering he's got the boys going in the right direction, hell I may have to sacrifice a goat and make myself like him.

As long as he continues to make big improvements I will support him.

I would agree with that. Hated to see him get a win last night. That said and I have long contended that no coach in the country gets less out of his talent than L.Carr. He is a pitiful coach. On tradition alone Michigan drags in top recruit after top recruit year in and year out. With the talent they get, a good coach would never be any worse than 9-3 after the bowl games and that would be a horrible year. They should be 10-2, 11-1, 12-0 year in and year out with the talent they get. You take any coach in the country and they would do no worse than match Carr's performance over the long haul. If Michigan had clue they would have canned him long ago.

Maybe Indiana could hire him to coach at "the rock"!!!

Not as nice as Florida. You were wise to leave.

The best part of the game was when they dumped gatorade on callahan while the final play was still going on. Then he realized it wasn't over and was looking nervous until they finally made the tackle. It reminded me of the clip of Shockey celebrating and as he did so they missed the FG.

I hope so, I really haven't seen enough of Oregon to make an honest prediction. I will say the AD is healthy, O-line is healthy, and we have Huepel back as our QB coach...PLUS Chuck "third and" Long won't be calling plays tonight so we might acutally do well!

If you want a "pull it out of my azz" prediction I will say OU 31-UO 21.

Eat crow over a Michigan loss...are you kidding me?

I'll eat crow for overrating that team and really can't believe that I gave the Wolverines any credit whatsoever, but you're still not going to convince me that the Big 12 is better than the Big 10...only idiots think the Big 12 is better.

Only probelm I had with the game is that Callahan should've just ran with Ross the entire game instead of ever throwing a pass, that was the only thing keeping Michigan in that game. Run Ross every down and NU would be sitting starters in the 3rd quarter as they look upon a 56-3 score.
