The Broncos will play 9 nationally televised games this coming season.

Monday, Sept. 26........Kansas City at Denver.............(9 p.m. ET, ABC)
Sunday, Oct. 16..........New England at Denver...........(4:15 p.m. ET, CBS)
Sunday, Oct. 23..........Denver at New York Giants......(4:15 p.m. ET, CBS)
Sunday, Oct. 30..........Philadelphia at Denver.............(4:15 p.m. ET, FOX)
Sunday, Nov. 20..........New York Jets at Denver.........(4:15 p.m. ET, CBS)
Thursday, Nov. 24.......Denver at Dallas......................(4 p.m. ET, CBS)
Saturday, Dec. 17.......Denver at Buffalo.....................(8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN)
Saturday, Dec. 24.......Oakland at Denver...................(4:15 p.m. ET, CBS)

Interesting? Is this new?

Because normally I wouldnt be able to watch the Denver Vs San Diego through national tv.

Damn it. It's diminishing my NFL ticket value.

I don't think everyone automatically gets to see the Broncos just because it is nationally televised. It depends in what area you live in on what nationally televised game you get for that week.

This is especially true for the east coast contingent.

However, the MNF, SNF, T-Day and Sat games are obivous locks and (if I'm lucky) I may get one or two of the Sunday 4 o'clock games once the Bills/Jets/Steelers/Browns are off the air....but the stars have to align just right.

God I hate regional coverage.

Of course, I'll be in attendance for the MNF and Sat game @ SD......a good omen since the Broncos are 2-0 with Sassy & I in attendance

Then you 2 need to make it to the rest of the games. No excuses like I got to go to work to or something like that. Priorities here to be taken care of!

Believe me, I would if I could swing it.

Until then, best I can do is represent twice a year for the WNY Contingent and for the Anheuser-Busch brewing Co.

I'm 99 percent positive your regional game trumps a national game. Luckily, I get Sioux Falls which plays alot of Bronco games. If I had Omaha on cable, I would get Chef games. I still get a few, but not many. I probably won't get the opener as it's on early in Miami.

'Mock's right, being in the "denver" region means no matter what CBS or FOX designates as the "national" game, I'll get all 16 Broncos games, regardless of the opponent.

Same for any other region.

Sweet. I live in Maine, get tons of Pats and Jets games for AFC coverage (Pats I'm cool with, Jets not so much), but most of their games have a 1:15pm ET start time. All the Bronco nationally televised games are 4:15pm or later.

Two primetimes I'll definately get to catch. The NYG one will probably be local broadcast through Fox here (NFC). Then I'll get a good chunk of the CBS ones as the second game.

Gonna be a good year, I'm a lock to catch at least 5 Bronco games (primetimes, NE, NYG, NYJ) probably more like 6 or 7, outside shot at all 9. Poor KOA web broadcast, you'll have one less person listening in on those weeks.

Exactly. Living in Arkansas means that KC and Dallas games take precedent over so called nationally televised games.

It all depends on the region you live because the regional coverage affects the nationally televised schedule. For example, if you live in Denver, and the Broncos are playing on CBS at the same time their "nationally" televised game is being shown, of course the Broncos game takes precedent.

Its strange. Last season CBS showed like three Broncos games here on tv, and I have now idea how and why they chose those particular games to show.

The TV execs are of the mistaken impression that San Diego will be good again, this year. That's why it's on national TV, IMO.

The main (read Only) reason I bought a BUD (BIG UGLY DISH) back in 88 was so I could watch Bronco games. As soon as the Denver Networks were uplinked to satellite I started looking for equipment. Got my dish , subscribed to the Denver stations and never looked back. Since the games are never blacked out in Denver I see all of them here in Portland. Although, it cost me about $1500 to buy and the subscription is 150 a year its the cheapest "season ticket" around. Plus I get all the pre-season games too.

When I moved in 99 the dish went with me, and the limit I put on my wife was we had to have a clear southern sky for reception, and no covenants banning the dish. The change in the laws about satellite almost did me in, but luckily my new house is really terrible for OTA antenna reception and the locals gave me waivers so I could still get the Denver stations.

Seeing so many Broncos games as national games is heartening for so many fans who either can't get them or live in areas where the only source is a sports bar or Direct TV. But if your'e a Bronco fan its worth the price to see your team play EVERY week.
Unfortunately home use BUD is a dying technology, and I dread the day the Denver stations stop their uplink.
