You guys aren't going to beat anyone in the playoffs if your offense doesn't play better.

What about the lack of experience among the 3 new guys?

True I hate the fact that wer are going to be setting our stakes on a Rookie again but hopefuly theres a differance in a Rookie drafted in the 3rd round for big play ability over a UFA picked up cause of his raw talent. Roc is alright but hopefuly Darrant or one of the other rookies has better abiltiy to cover the Colts 3 man...Plus isent Stokley out for the season

A revamped D-line would help the case alil too...Manning having all day equals 40+ points.

play better than what? 1 pre season game?? If so than yea for sure, but if we play as well as we did last year - plummers picks, we will be again top 10 O, which is fine with me.

Do we have the Defense to stop manning?? i think so, we have the players, but it also takes a good gameplan and good play calls whcih coyer did horribly last year. Hopefully we have learned well over the past 2 losses and take out the colts this year.

I hope that didn't have anything to do with our latest preseason game.

I would rather take a page out the Patriots playbook and drop back into a 3-4 zone, clogging up all the passing zones.

I honestly woudn't like to face them again in the playoffs in Indy The best recipe would be to win our division and hopefully they'll come to Denver. If we have to face them again in their dome I think we're toast. The psycological factor would be huge and it wouldn't be on our side.

You do realize to win a game a team has to put points on the board...and

With our current RB situation wich looks gloomy due to poor blocking by the line means we could be in for a long season and not have to worry about facing Manning and losing in the playoffs. At WR we have Rod who is always solid Lelie who is emerging and who a 90 year old GOAT and an inconcistant alligator. Devoe looks good but hes a 50/50 shot to catch the ball and no one else looks consistant enough to fit the bill.

ON D

We have a secondary that is thin on experienced players...and even though rookies are prone to make big ballsy plays they are also prone to consistantly get beat. Our depth in the secondary consists of Lynch, Bailey, Walls, and Fergeson as being experienced starters for the team. Brandon is inconsistant, Roc is still considered a rookie (raw tallent) Young has seen the field what? Twice then we have LeSuer who was injured hes basicly a rookie, The Trifecta of draft picks, Browner and Shoat? That makes me so sure were gonna be a winning team!

Rant over

If I was a Bronco player or coach, I'd want those guys again, just for the chance to really give them the business. Personally, I wouldn't care what the final score was, I'd focus on doing whatever I did right last time a little better.

OK, realistically, a pass rush without blitzing opens up all kinds of possibilities. You have to have it come playoff time, or you're gonna get torched. You have to have solid line play on both sides of the ball, or get lots of turnovers. One or the other, and preferably both.

Just because you have rookies playing doesn't mean you are doomed. Three rookie DBs last year played well enough to win the DROY last year. The Pats won the SB with guys that went undrafted covering WR's. Not to long ago Ricky Manning Jr was making big play after big play in the playoffs. Maybe we got lucky and got one of those type of players.

I don't have an opinion of the new guys yet. I'm just going on some of the posts I've read. It sounds like these guys can "possibly" cover.

In the first half yes but we did get things going later on. Also I believe that that BS call when Lelie caught that ball killed us during the first half. Would we have won? I don't think so but still that made it alot harder on us.

Anyway that WAS what I was talking about. But really, what are the odds of facing Indy for the third year in a row.

Well, they are drafted players with physical tools and talent.

Finally we have more drafted players than undrafted free agents on the secondary.
