Likewise, if Denver lays an egg tonight, I won't come on here running smack.
Preseason or not, I don't think any NFL coach goes into a game without a gameplan. And I would be worried about the number of penalties... your guys looked positively Raideresque out there.

You may not run smack if our team looks as bad tonight as yours did last night... but trust me on this, some rival fans would. And some Broncos fans would doing a Chicken Little impression, too.

Gunther himself said the only team they have gameplanned for was the Jets.

Gunther said that, eh? Well, the defense did play like there was no gameplan, for a fact... and no discernible discipline either...

Minny was just going deep into their playbook then? All teams runa a base gameplan of 15 plays or so. Gameplaning has nothing to do with poor tackleing, inability to control your gaps and the penalties.

... or with an '03 Pro Bowler (what a joke that was, btw...) being flattened by a 3rd or 4th string QB...rofl

Bob's bending "preseason doesn't matter" to his warped view. The wins in preseason don't matter, but a team's ability to execute (or in the Chorfs case, not execute) suggests there might be some trouble down the road. Certainly teams get better once the season starts and of course after, but problems are often a type of things to come. Dropped balls were a problem for the Broncos in the preseason games last year and while they declined to a degree, we still found ourselves cursing at missed catches the would have been first downs but instead flew into the hands of defenders during the season.

Anyway my point is: to say "Preseason doesn't matter" when you are talking about fundamentals like tackling and closing on a ball carrier, is a mistake.

Watch the first touchdown thrown by Dante'. Your guys just kind of "jog" next to him while he waltzes into the endzone.

It never ceases to amaze me that first Bob makes a post than "pick a Bronco fan" responds and this goes back and fourth to the tune of 4 or 5 pages, thread after thread.

Boob's a troll, like Alec repeatly says, "Stop feeding the trolls". They grow up and might breed.
