Man I'm ready to see this team play...

Thanks for all the info Khan but just based on what you have been saying, what i've been reading through the media, and personal interest in the matter, I'm just ready to get out and watch this team play against Houston... 2nd, 3rd, 15th team out there, I don't care. I'm pumped. Alright, just thought I would let you all know and i'm sure you feel the same.

Things i'm looking for in this preseason game against Houston:

1. HB depth: I want to see our backs running all over the Texans. Through, around, over, on top, levating... I don't care. I want to see #26, 33 and 20 the most though...

2. DL penetration: We should get a good perspective on how deep our squad is this weekend. Hell, Palepoi, Fatefehi, and Pope, all starters last year will be used late in this game.

3. BVP: I want to see this guy really solidify his chances as our #2 against Houston. He should get a lot of chances.

4. Young CB's: I want to see these guys ballhawking. Lesueur... its your time buddy, step up and put pressure on Fergy. I would also like to see D. Williams come alive.

5. Turnovers: I don't care who is in the game... we've made this a emphasis for umpteen years now. I want to see us set the tone early.

6. Special Teams: Its one thing to punt 70 yds with no rush coming at you. I want to see it in the game. I also want to see our coverage units play well. This is such a big part of our season this year. If we play like we are capable of playing across the board, offensively, defensively, AND SPECIAL TEAMS we will have a special year. 12-4ish. If not... 10-6 again or 9-7.
