Default How many of these losses can USC sustain?

CB Eric Wright
DT Manual Wright
OG Jeff Byers
One of their TEs (not sure if its Byrd though)

possibly....just possibly LenDale White.

Now i know the NCAA loves licking their nutsack and all (See VT and UCLA games) but come on. This is alot to handle and still win the title.

Losing my boy Byers is a big blow to them. He was pretty stupid by jumping the gun early and practicing with the injury that he got in that UCLA game. They are not exactly hurting on the O-line though. But to lose a kid who was a starter on a national championship team as a true freshmen, shows that he did have incredible talent.

Believe me though, I still see them raking the PAC-10 over the coals this year. With the exception of ASU and possibly Cal, there is nobody who I expect to compete with that offense.

Way to wait with the offer Barnett!! Byers might have eventually been picked off and gone out-of-state, but he would have committed to CU if he had an offer in February '03. Once big time out-of-state schools had offers on the table before the in-state school, there was no chance he was staying home.
